We arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, then fly to Brussels on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC921 at 09:50. After arriving at Brussels Charleroi Airport at 12:20 local time, we depart for Paris with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Bruges Tour (50 Euro). Known as “Belgium’s Venice” because of its houses on the water and streets made up of canals, Bruges is considered a true dream city. The city’s historical fabric and medieval architecture, which miraculously were not damaged during World War II, have survived to the present day. The colorful, single-story, cake-like houses, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets we see in the city square will draw us into a fairy tale. After our city tour in Bruges, we continue our journey to Paris. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Paris region, check-in and free time to rest.
PARIS – (Paris Phenomena Tour and Seine River Boat Tour) – (Paris Icons Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Paris Phenomena and Seine River Boat Tour (85 Euro). We begin our Paris Phenomena tour with the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and indeed of France. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris Exposition Universelle, this structure of steel and iron was spared demolition after drawing great interest from tourists during and after the 1889 World’s Fair and has remained standing to this day. We provide free time around the Eiffel Tower for photos and exploration of the area. During this free time, guests may go up to the 2nd floor of the tower, which consists of 3 sections (levels) and is accessed by elevator to each section, to enjoy the unique view of Paris and take beautiful photos (Optional Eiffel Tower elevator ascent fee is 23€, not included in the extra tour price). After our Eiffel tour, we arrange a Seine River boat tour. (Boat tour is included in the extra tour fee.) The 776 km-long Seine River, one of the most famous rivers in the world, divides the city in two. During the cruise on long boats moving slowly along the river, we will see many of Paris’s famous buildings and the 37 bridges over the river from a unique angle. After our Seine River excursion, we see panoramically the Lady Diana Monument, the 17th-century royal entertainment center Palais Royal, and many historical buildings including the Comedie Franceise Square, where the French State Theatre is also located, via the Invalides (Veterans) Square route, and then reach the BENLUX Store, where we provide free time for shopping and sightseeing for products such as souvenirs, cosmetics, bags, watches, and accessories. Guests who wish may visit the Louvre Museum, which was built as a defensive castle in the Middle Ages and later began to be used as a museum after the French Revolution, and which was visited by nearly 10 million people in 2012, after the photo stop we will make there; they can visit the museum during the free time offered (Optional Louvre Museum entrance fee is 33€, not included in the extra tour price). After the tour, free time in the city center. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Paris Icons Tour (65 Euro). On our tour, we first go to Montmartre Hill, known as the "Artists' Hill," the highest point of Paris, where bohemian life still continues today and where street painters and caricaturists, as well as many famous painters, have worked. After visiting the Sacré-Cœur Basilica (Church of Vows) rising above this 130-meter hill (transport by funicular is included in the extra tour price), we will have free time in the painters' square for portrait drawing and sightseeing. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for our hotel in the Luxembourg region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Disneyland Tour (Single Park Ticket 130 Euro & Double Park Ticket 150 Euro – ticket prices may vary depending on availability. Advance reservation is recommended. Transportation from the RER Train Station to Disneyland Park is the responsibility of guests joining the Disneyland Tour. Guests joining the Disneyland Tour will be dropped off at the RER Train station on the way there, and on the return they will be picked up from the Disneyland Park entrance according to their preference.) program. The capital Luxembourg, which bears the same name as the country, is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the only city to have been named European Capital of Culture twice, in 1995 and 2007. After our city tour in Luxembourg, one of Europe’s smallest countries in terms of area, we arrive at Trier, our second stop. Located on the banks of the Moselle River in Germany, founded by the Roman Empire and possessing Germany’s oldest history, Trier’s main sights during our excursion include Porta Nigra Gate, Trier Cathedral, Church of Our Lady, Ancient Roman Theater, Karl Marx House, and the Roman Bridge. Then we will see Reichsburg Castle, the symbol of Cochem, from the outside and have the chance to photograph the castle silhouette. Built in the 11th century and located on a high hill, this structure can be seen from almost every point in the city. Cologne Gothic Cathedral, Hochenzollern Bridge, and Kaiser Wilhelm II Monument are among the main sights during our city tour. After free time following our Cologne excursion, we proceed to Roermond, home to the largest designer outlet center in the Benelux region and in Germany. After the free time we provide at Outlet Center, which hosts stores of many famous brands and captivates shopping enthusiasts with its affordable prices throughout the year, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Amsterdam. Giethoorn, with its pristine nature away from motor vehicles, bridges, canals, and charming houses with unique architectural beauty, ranks first among the world’s most peaceful places. After our Zaanse Schans visit, where we will see mills used today in paint and oil production as well as shops where we can find examples of handmade souvenirs such as wooden clogs, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Zaandam. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Brussels Charleroi Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. After completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures at the airport, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC924 at 17:30. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 21:45 local time and end of the tour.
