Day 1: Istanbul – Tirana – Budva

Meet 3 hours before our flight at the AJet Airlines counter in the departure terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. We depart on AJet Airlines flight VF367 at 07:55 for Tirana, the capital of Albania. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, we arrive in Tirana at 08:40 local time and, after entry procedures, our private vehicle waiting at the airport will take us on our city tour. An impressive tour awaits us in this beautiful city, which is rich in historical and cultural aspects, where we will discover Tirana, considered the center of Bektashism in Europe. Upon arrival in Tirana, we visit the Ethem Bey Mosque, one of the city’s most important symbols. This structure, whose construction began in 1789 and was completed in 1923, is one of Albania’s cultural heritages. We take a short break at Skanderbeg Square and see the Skanderbeg Statue proudly rising in the middle of the square. The Clock Tower, a symbol of Tirana built by Ethem Bey in 1821, is also one of the highlights of our tour. After free time, we begin our journey to Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world and the pearl of the Adriatic Sea. After arriving in Budva, our Budva city tour begins. Our first stop is Kotor, a small city that is very important in terms of its historical and architectural heritage. It has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1979. On our walking city tour, we will see the most important buildings of Kotor, which bears the texture of Venetian architecture, and then we continue around Kotor Bay and visit Perast, which is photographed on postcards with its unique scenery. Then our next stop on our journey along the rare shores of this bay is Tivat, where Porto Montenegro is located. Known as the Monaco of Montenegro, you can relax in Tivat’s luxury cafés and relieve the day’s fatigue by swimming or walking along the beach.

Day 3: Budva

On this tour, we first go to Cetinje, the former royal capital of Montenegro, and see the historical Serbian Orthodox monastery there. After a free coffee break in the small Cetinje square, we continue on our way. Then we visit the charming town of Virpazar, where we will see Lake Skadar. During the one-hour free time we will have in Virpazar, you can take a magnificent boat ride among the water lilies on Lake Skadar with small boats. It will be a pleasant privilege to see pelicans on the lake, the largest lake in the Balkans and home to around 250 different bird species. (Guests who want to take the boat ride will pay an additional 15 Euro per person for the National Park entrance fee and boat fee.) The next stop on our tour is the historical and tourist city of Bar on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. In this city, which is also Montenegro’s main port, we visit the mountainous part, Stari Bar, and see the historical Bar fortress and the historical mosques left from the Ottoman period from outside. We visit its small and charming bazaar and have our free lunch at a local restaurant. We end the day with the extraordinary view of Sveti Stefan. We stop for photos at a place where you can see the magnificent Sveti Stefan panoramically from above, which was a settlement area for fishermen many years ago, then expropriated and later sold to a Singaporean hotel chain, and today has been brought into tourism through restoration work. Sveti Stefan Island, a village protected by walls in the 15th century and a fishing town until the 1950s, was a favorite place for celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, and Liz Taylor in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

After the boat tour, following a short free time in Tivat, we return to Budva. Overnight at our hotel.
