Tour details

After picking up our valued guests from the designated stop points, we arrive in our capital Ankara with our breaks and refreshments. After our guide's informative narration at the Ankara Ethnography Museum, which first hosted the remains of Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK from 1938 to 1953, we visit our museum where materials compiled from various regions from the Seljuk Period to the present day are exhibited as examples of Turkish Art. After our visit here, we visit Ankara Castle, which dates back to the Hittite Period and is Ankara's highest point. We tour the inner and outer castles. Then we proceed to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations', the present-day form of the historic Mahmut Pasha and Kurşunlu Han, located near the outer walls of the castle. We tour this rich museum, where artifacts belonging to all civilizations that lived in Anatolia are exhibited. With its unique collections, it is among the world's leading museums. You can see all artifacts from the Paleolithic Age to the Ottoman Period. Then, after seeing the Victory Monument of Ulus in Ulus Square, we go to the 1st Parliament building, which is also used today as the War of Independence Museum. We tour this first and important parliament, where the Republic was proclaimed, the National Anthem was adopted, Ankara became the Capital, and Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK was elected President between 23 April 1920 and 15 October 1924. Then we go to the 2nd Grand National Assembly of Turkey Building, built in 1923 by architect Vedat Tek and used today as the Republic Museum. We tour this special and important museum, a marvel of architecture, where our Republic developed and Atatürk's principles and reforms were implemented between 1924 and 1960. Afterwards, we move to Balgat for our lunch. After our meal, we go to ANITKABİR, the eternal resting place of the first President of the Republic of Turkey, the commander-in-chief Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the revolutions, located at Ankara Rasattepe (Anıttepe). And we place our carnations at the mausoleum in the presence of our ancestor. After our informative explanations here, while touring Anıtkabir, which was built with every detail carefully considered, you will both feel proud and saddened. We also tour its lower sections as the War of Independence Museum. With our eyes filled with tears, we bid a sorrowful farewell to Anıtkabir. At the end of our tour, we head to Youth Park, one of Ankara's most well-known parks, and after a short rest break here, we say goodbye to Ankara. We drop our valued guests off at the designated stop points, hoping to see you again on another Tatil Avcısı Turizm organization.
