Day 1 | Istanbul – Sofia
We depart at 22:00 from the Kadıköy marriage office, at 22:30 from the front of Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe, at 23:00 from the front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, at 23:30 from the front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park Mall, and at 23:59 from the front of Silivri Vega Mall. (You are required to be at the specified locations at least 15 minutes before the departure times.) After approximately 3 hours of travel, upon arriving at the Kapıkule border gate, we complete customs and passport procedures and then proceed into Bulgaria, heading to the capital, Sofia.
Day 2 | Sofia
Following our arrival in Sofia in the morning, on our panoramic city tour of Sofia; St. Nedelya Church, the Rotunda Church, the Russian Church, St. Sofia Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Prime Ministry and Parliament buildings, as well as Sofia University and the National Palace of Culture, and the Banyabaşı Mosque designed by Mimar Sinan, and Serdika (Tolerance) Square are among the places to be seen. Afterwards, we give free time until 14:30. Then transfer to our hotel, check-in, and free time. Our guests who wish may join the Shopping Tour to be held at 15:30. (20.€) We start this tour with the world-famous Jumbo Store. We give a 1-hour shopping break in this store, which has hundreds of thousands of varieties from needle to thread, from head to toe, from home accessories to vehicle accessories, including toys. Afterwards, we move to the Metro Store, where Electronics/Cleaning/Alcohol/Textile products are sold economically. After another 1-hour shopping break here, around 18:30 we return to our hotel and conclude our tour. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the Bulgarian Night, an extra event completed with a live folklore show consisting of traditional local music and dance. (65.€ | Includes a 3-course Bulgarian meal in a traditional restaurant & 20cl Wine or Bulgarian Rakia or a Soft Drink!) This event, for guests who want to get to know Bulgarian culture and Bulgarian cuisine more closely, starts with departure from the hotel at 20:00 and ends at the hotel at 23:00. Overnight at our hotel in Sofia.
Day 3 | Sofia – Koprivshtitsa
After breakfast, free time. Our guests who wish may join the Koprivshtitsa tour organized as an extra. (45.€) We begin our total Koprivshtitsa tour, consisting of a panoramic walking tour and free time, by leaving the hotel at 10:00. After an enjoyable journey of about 2.5 hours, upon arrival in Koprivshtitsa, following a half-hour panoramic walking tour, we give free time to get to know the city, shop, and have lunch. With its cobblestone streets, spacious verandas, wide eaves, and colorfully painted houses with high mountain views and unique beauty that almost mesmerize people, attracting tourists from all over Bulgaria, and in autumn with the trees turning multicolored, the scent of smoke from the chimneys, and magnificent views, you will create unforgettable memories in this town. We return to the hotel at 18:00.
Day 4 | Sofia – Plovdiv – Istanbul
After breakfast, we depart for Plovdiv at 08:30. After about a 2-hour pleasant journey, upon arriving in Plovdiv, one of Europe’s oldest cities with an 8,000-year history and called “Filibe” during the Ottoman Empire, our panoramic city tour will give us the opportunity to see traces of the Byzantine, Greek, and Ottoman periods. Friday Mosque, Sveta Bogoroditsa Church, the Ancient Theatre, and Old Plovdiv will be visited. We will give free time on Batenberg Street, the city’s most lively shopping and entertainment center, for lunch and shopping. During the free time, our guests who wish may join the Thracian Valley Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting tour organized as an extra (45.€) In this tour, we embark on an unforgettable wine tour in the Thracian Valley, one of the world’s oldest wine regions. In this magnificent valley, the most important and largest wine region of Bulgaria, a vineyard blended with both history and modern technology awaits you. This boutique winery, only 40 minutes from Plovdiv, is located at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains and offers a magnificent view. 🥇 Award-Winning Wines: Wines produced by blending the local red varieties Mavrud and Rubin have won many prestigious international awards. 🍷 Tasting Experience: With visits to the fermentation room, the storage where the wine matures in oak barrels, the enoteca, and the wine tasting room, we will taste 5 local wines accompanied by appetizers. (Wine tasting is included in the price) 🌿 Vineyard Exploration: When the weather permits, you will also explore the vineyards. With this unique wine trip, you will experience the magic of wine making and add unforgettable flavors to your palate. After this tour, which lasts a total of 3 hours, we pick up our guests remaining in central Plovdiv and depart for Istanbul at 16:30. On the way, after a one-hour shopping and dinner break at Kasap Mustafa Market, we complete our passport and customs procedures at the Kapıkule border gate and then enter Turkey, followed by an approximately 3-hour journey to Istanbul and the end of our tour.
