Bus Trip to Yaz Iskeçe & Thassos, 1 Night 2 Days

Day 1 – Saturday | Istanbul – Xanthi

We set off at 04:00 in the morning from Kadıköy marriage office, at 04:30 from Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe, at 05:00 from in front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, at 05:30 from in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park Mall, and at 06:00 from in front of Silivri Vega Center. (You are required to be at the specified locations at least 15 minutes before departure times.) After approximately 3 hours of travel, upon arrival we complete customs and passport procedures and then cross into Greece, reaching the center of Xanthi in about an hour. After a short panoramic walking tour in the old bazaar, consisting of traditional old Turkish houses reminiscent of Safranbolu, in Xanthi, an important settlement where Western Thrace Turks live, we give free time to enjoy the beautiful cafes and taverns. Then we check into the rooms, followed by free time. Guests who wish may join the Filamingo Outlet Mall & Jumbo Shopping Center event to be organized as an extra. We will return to the hotel around 19:00. (25.-€) Overnight in the center of Xanthi.

Day 2 – Sunday | Xanthi – Thassos – Istanbul

We start the day with a pleasant Sunday breakfast. Free time in Xanthi until evening. Guests who wish may join the Thassos Island tour to be organized as an extra. (45.-€) Departing from the hotel at 08:00, after a 45-minute journey we reach Keramoti port and from there cross to Thassos Island by ferry. Guests who wish we drop off directly at La Scala Beach. (La Scala Beach entrance fee is not included in the price!) Then we start our Thassos tour. Our first stop on this tour is the village of Panagia, the most untouched village and the most sacred settlement of Thassos Island. Here, after walking among the traditional Greek village houses and seeing Panagia Church, we visit the traditional olive oil factory and museum in the region famous for its olives, and during the break we will have in the village, those who wish can sip their coffee at the village square’s coffeehouse, while those who wish can try the delicacies (lamb/kid/kokoretsi) at the island’s most famous tavern. Then we take a panoramic tour of the Limenas region. Our guests who wish can enjoy the sea, sand, and sun at the beaches in Limenas, and those who wish can savor Greek flavors at the taverns in Limenas and shop in the bazaar. At 16:15 we depart from La Scala Beach, at 16:30 from Limenas, and with the 16:45 ferry we cross to Keramoti, visit the Kavala cookie factory outlet store, and then, picking up our guests who did not join the tour and stayed at the hotel and in Xanthi, we head toward the İpsala border gate. Shopping opportunity at the Greek freeshop during customs and passport procedures. Arrival in Istanbul via İpsala, Keşan, Tekirdağ and end of our tour. Until we meet again on our next tour...
