We arrive at Chios Island. Our guide welcomes us at the Chios Port, and we begin our island tour. Our first stop is Armolia Village, famous for its handcrafted ceramics. Here, we take a short ceramic workshop break. Next, we visit Mesta, one of the best-preserved medieval castles-villages from the Middle Ages. We walk through its maze-like narrow streets, take a coffee break at the village square, and see the Taksiarchis Church. Then we move to Pyrgi Village, known for its geometric patterned houses. Our guide provides information about the special decoration technique called “Ksista.” After the tour, we have free time for lunch at a seaside tavern. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood and mezes if they wish. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. After check-in, we settle into our hotel accommodation. 2. You may also participate in optional activities suggested by our guide to make your day even more colorful. In the evening, those interested can join an unforgettable Greek Night featuring traditional Greek cuisine, live music, and dance performances with “bouzouki” melodies. Stay at our hotel. 3. Day | Chios – Çeşme Return | North Island Tour (Tabakika – Daskalopetra – Langada – Agios Isidoros) After breakfast at the hotel, we start our North Island tour. First, we visit Tabakika, one of the island’s symbols, a historic site with four old windmills by the sea, perfect for photos with a panoramic view of the Aegean. Then, we go to Daskalopetra, believed to be Homer’s school of writing. Dating back to the 6th century B.C., this rocky area was used as a school by students and is an important cultural and historical site. For lunch, we stop at the charming fishing village of Langada, where we can try fresh seafood, mezes, and local delicacies at seaside taverns. On the way back, we stop at Agios Isidoros Church, a prominent building in Sakız Island, located over the sea. It is believed that the sweet gum known as “Damla Sakızı” is associated with this saint.
