Elegant Jordan & Petra Tour with Turkish Airlines, 4 Nights (AMM-AQJ)

Day 1 ISTANBUL – AMMAN

We meet three hours before the flight at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, following our flight to Amman with Turkish Airlines scheduled service, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport and begin our panoramic city tour. Amman, the modern capital of Jordan, was built in the past like Rome on 7 hills and today is a city spanning 19 hills. In this city, which is a blend of the modern and the old, the Roman Theater, still used for cultural and artistic events with a capacity of six thousand people, the Amman Citadel atop one of the 7 hills that make up Amman, the Umayyad Palace consisting of ancient city ruins, and the National Museum are among the places we will see panoramically. Then we depart for our tour of the Ancient City of Jerash. During our visit to the Ancient City of Jerash, known as “Geresa” in the ancient Roman period, whose ruins date back to 6500 BC and which hosted many civilizations for a long time and has managed to remain intact from the Romans to the present day, we will take a short journey into the past. Day 2 AMMAN – DEAD SEA – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – AMMAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Madaba & Mount Nebo & Dead Sea with Lunch tour. First, we go to Madaba, the city of churches located southwest of Amman. St. George Greek Orthodox Church is known for the Madaba mosaic map, the oldest known map of the Holy Land. This map, dating from the 6th century AD and measuring 21.5x7 cm, covers the area extending from ancient Byblos (today Jbeil, Lebanon) to Thebes (Egypt). Afterwards, we head to Mount Nebo. Nebo is approximately 817 meters above sea level in Jordan and is the highest point of the Abarim Mountains of which it is a part. In the Torah, it is mentioned as the place where the Promised Land was shown to Moses. We continue on our tour toward the Dead Sea. In the free time we will give here, our guests who wish may swim in the Dead Sea depending on weather conditions. After the lunch break, transfer to your hotel and free time. Day 3 AMMAN – PETRA – WADI RUM

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart to carry out our Petra with Lunch and Wadi Rum with Dinner tour. We begin our tour with a visit to the Ancient City of Petra, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and was selected as one of the 7 wonders of the world, and was the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom between 400 BC and 106 AD. During our tour, in the city also known as the “Pink City” due to the colors of its pink, red, yellow, and orange rocks, places to see include Al-Khazneh (The Treasury), the Roman theater, and the Royal Tombs. At the end of the tour, we take a lunch break. After lunch, we head to Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest valley. Upon arrival, free time to settle into our camp rooms. Dinner and accommodation at our Wadi Rum camp.

Day 4 WADI RUM – AQABA

After breakfast at our camp, we depart for our safari tour in Wadi Rum. In Wadi Rum, where we will see pink sand and unique natural formations over an area of 74,000 hectares, we will take a safari tour by vehicle. At the end of the tour, we head to Aqaba. Upon arrival, we take our panoramic city tour. Aqaba, which provides Jordan’s connection to the Red Sea and is called the “Bride of the Red Sea” due to its great historical importance, borders Egypt and Saudi Arabia. With 300 sunny days and the sea temperature remaining unchanged throughout the year, swimming in the city is always possible. In Aqaba, where you can find products specific to the region and the country, after the free time we will give for shopping and lunch, transfer to our hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.

Day 5 AQABA – ISTANBUL

After breakfast at the hotel, room check-out and

free time until the transfer time announced by our guide. At the time specified by our guide, we transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, departure to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled service

Day 6 ISTANBUL

With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the end of our tour and services.

o It is mandatory to confirm all flight details 48 hours before the tour.

o For Triple (3-person rooms), an extra bed is provided, and the 3rd bed is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since hotels have a limited number of twin (2 separate beds) rooms, please check your twin room request before booking.

o The hotels provided are sample hotels. You can learn about the hotels where you will stay / have been finalized from your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

o For the Bubble-type accommodation room in the Wadi Rum campsite, please ask about availability and the price difference.

o The participant hereby accepts in advance that they will participate in the tours to be organized as specified in the tour program and will not disrupt the program, and accordingly will pay additionally to the tour representative during the trip the amount previously stated in the tour program for payments related to expenses such as local guide, museum & site entrance fees, city taxes, and, if any, audio system fees. The participant has been fully and completely informed on this matter.
