Day 1: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – HERAKLION Meet at Istanbul Airport Departures Terminal in front of the Aegean Airlines counter at 13:00. After passport control, check-in, and luggage procedures, depart for Heraklion with Aegean Airlines flight A3435 at 16:25. Arrive in Heraklion at 17:55 local time. Our private transfer will meet us at the airport and transfer us to our hotel. Upon arrival, check-in, settle into your rooms, and enjoy some free time. Today, you can take advantage of the hotel amenities and enjoy the sea. After dinner, guests who wish can join the extra-organized "Greek Night Tour" by our guide. This special night is an opportunity to experience Crete’s lively culture and energy. At this event, you will enjoy live Greek music and dance, and you will be offered a drink of your choice. After the Greek Night entertainment, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 2: HERAKLION After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish can join the extra-organized “Heraklion City Tour & Knossos & Archanes Village Tour”. Meet with our guide after breakfast and start the tour. We will explore the rich history and culture of Crete starting from Plateia Eleftherias in Heraklion. The visit will include the historic Agios Titos Church, Agios Minas Cathedral, and the Ottoman-era Bon Marché Building. These sites reflect Crete’s cultural fabric. We will visit Valide Sultan Fountain, Evkaf Building, and other historical structures. Then, see the Venetian Loggia, which showcases Venice’s influence on the island. The highlight will be the Venice Port and shipyards. After the city tour, free time to enjoy local flavors and relax. Then, we will head to Knossos Palace and Archanes Village. Knossos, built around 2000 BC, was the capital of the Minotaur Kingdom and is a magical site. After the visit, we will go to Archanes Village, known for its traditional lifestyle and charming streets. Experience the authentic Girit culture and lifestyle before returning to the hotel. Day 3: HERAKLION After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Those interested can join the extra-organized “Rethymno & Chania Tour”. After breakfast, depart with our guides for Rethymno, a city full of history and charm. Rethymno is like an open-air museum with influences from Venetian and Ottoman periods. Explore the Venetian Fortress, Ibrahim Aga Mosque, the Venetian Fountain, Nerace Mosque, and the old Ottoman School. Afterward, continue to Chania, passing through Souda Bay. In Chania, visit the Venetian Harbor, Lighthouse, Hunkar Mosque, Agios Nikolaos Church, and the Muslim Kastelli neighborhood. There will be shopping time at the Covered Market before returning to the hotel for overnight. Day 4: HERAKLION – ISTANBUL AIRPORT After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and enjoy free time for personal activities and shopping until the transfer time determined by our guide. Guests interested can join the extra-organized “Jumbo Shopping Tour”, visiting Greece’s popular and affordable Jumbo Store, which offers a variety of items from toys to household goods. After shopping, transfer to the airport. Check passport and check-in procedures, then depart for Istanbul on Aegean Airlines flight A3434 at 15:05. Arrive in Istanbul at 16:40 local time.
