ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
After completing baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Bergamo at 14:20 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1213. Upon arrival at Bergamo Airport at 16:10 local time, we head to Milan city center with our private bus waiting for us at the airport to carry out our city tour. City tour after arrival in Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art such as the fresco of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences; during our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria, where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano are among the places to see. After the Milan city tour, we head to Venice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Venice region, room assignments and free time to rest.
VENICE – (Verona Tour) – (Venice Masterpieces & Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, within the free time offered, guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour (50 Euro) program. Verona, included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, also hosts Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and, at the same time, is home to Juliet’s House, where Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo & Juliet, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today, takes place. We complete our tour in Verona with a visit to Erbe Square and then set off for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour (80 Euro – “including Vaporetto and city entrance fees”) program. During our tour in Venice, we will see iconic structures such as San Marco Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and built from stone and marble, San Marco Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of splendor and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower; then we will take a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. After the free time given at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Florence. Upon arrival at our hotel in Florence, room assignments and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – PISA – (Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, our tour will include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square. After a short free time to see and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, we move on to organize our panoramic Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, the 4th largest church in Europe, which immediately draws attention with its orange dome. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is the bronze gate called the “Gate of Paradise,” where episodes of prophets, some of which are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted as representations. Afterwards, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous statue of David is also located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to see. After the Florence city tour, we head to Rome. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Siena Tour (50 Euro) program. Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant walk in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to this square, we continue our journey to Rome. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Rome region, room assignments and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro) program. Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this feature, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After a local tour in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares, a mesmerizing lake and valley view, and the scent of strawberries in the air come together, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” offering art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles stretching from ancient times to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome is able to carry even these crowds with all its beauty and aesthetics without suffocating people. In our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and has witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that has become the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where according to legend those who throw a coin into it will return to Rome again, the Spanish Steps, famous for street performers, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. Within this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro) program. Starting by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come every year to worship and gather, and where, on special days, the Pope comes out from his seat to greet the people, and where San Pietro Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. Guests who wish may visit the cathedral section “free of charge” subject to availability. After the free time to be offered, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, in addition to its authenticity and simplicity, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, with its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops, as well as Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, and the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by 2 bridges. After a walking tour through its narrow, maze-like back streets with small tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Rome Fiumicino Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 11:45 with Pegasus Airlines flight PC1222. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:25 local time and the end of our tour.
