ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
After completing baggage check-in, ticketing, and passport control procedures at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Bergamo at 08:50 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211. Upon arrival at Bergamo Airport at 10:40 local time, we head to Milan city center with our private bus waiting for us at the airport to take our city tour. Upon arrival in Milan, city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art such as the Last Supper fresco by the great master Leonardo Da Vinci. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences; during our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano are among the places to be seen. After the Milan city tour, we head towards Venice. Along the way, guests who wish may join our optional Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and, at the same time, the house of Juliet, where the world-famous love story Romeo & Juliet, written by the famous English writer Shakespeare, takes place. We will complete our tour in Verona with a visit to Erbe Square and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. Transfer to our hotel in the Venice region. VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces & Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Pisa. Along the way, guests who wish may join our optional Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour (80 Euro – “including Vaporetto and city entrance fees”). During our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, all built from stone and marble. Afterwards, we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. After some free time at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, our tour will include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square among the places to be visited. After a short free time where we will see and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. Room assignment and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (San Gimignano & Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for our panoramic Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral from the outside, immediately recognizable by its orange dome and the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes of prophets’ stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Holy Quran, are depicted in relief. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we head to Rome. Along the way, guests who wish may join our optional San Gimignano & Siena Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano has found its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to its 14 architectural marvel towers that survived out of 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour in San Gimignano’s narrow streets, where time seems to have stopped and gives visitors the feeling of a journey back to the Middle Ages, and in its squares where we can panoramically see the 14 magnificent towers, each opening onto the town square, we arrive at Siena, the next stop on our tour. Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant visit in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to Rome. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Rome region, room assignment and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join our optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this feature, Nemi hosts the annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, referred to as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine meet you, with buildings in different styles extending from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works produced by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome can carry even these crowds without overwhelming the person, with all its beauty and aesthetics. On our tour, in Rome, the imperial city that shaped European civilization and has witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the symbol of the city and the ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where, according to legend, anyone who throws a coin in it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street performers, and Piazza Pietra, Piazza Popolo, as panoramic places to be seen. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Starting with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels – and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country in terms of area. We offer free time in St. Peter’s Square (San Pietro Square), where thousands of Catholics come to worship each year and gather, and where on special days the Pope steps out from his office to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. Guests who wish may visit the cathedral section free of charge depending on availability. After the free time offered, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, the places to be seen include Trastevere, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops in addition to its naturalness and simplicity, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, the Ghetto districts, and the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by 2 bridges. After the walking tour through its small tables and maze-like narrow back streets, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Rome Fiumicino Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Along the way, guests who wish may join our optional Outlet Tour (25 Euro). After the pleasant free time we will offer for quality and affordable shopping at the outlet center, which is home to stores of the world’s and Italy’s most prestigious brands that shape fashion trends, as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage check-in, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 17:15 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1224. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20:55 local time and the end of our tour.
