1 . DAY

ISTANBUL - MILAN

We meet three hours before the flight at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport following our Milan flight operated by Pegasus Airlines scheduled service, then depart for the city tour. Milan is a dynamic city located in the north of Italy and is the center of fashion, design, and business. Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), one of Milan’s most iconic structures, is a perfect example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth largest church in the world and one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The exterior of the cathedral is made of white marble and decorated with detailed carvings. On the front facade, there are countless statues and carvings. The most striking statue is the golden Madonnina at the very top of the cathedral. This statue is regarded as the city’s patron saint. Right next to the Duomo is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This magnificent shopping gallery is famous for its glass roof and mosaic floors. Here you can find boutiques of luxury brands, stylish cafés, and restaurants. The gallery has four main entrances, but the most famous one is from Piazza del Duomo. When you enter from here, its eye-catching architecture immediately draws attention; it is a perfect combination of modern engineering and traditional art. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to rest.

2 . DAY

LAKE GARDA – VENICE

After breakfast, depart for Lake Garda. We visit Italy’s largest lake, Lake Garda, to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The waters of Lake Garda have the most beautiful shades of emerald green and blue. Even walking around the lake or simply watching the view is relaxing. After our Lake Garda excursion, upon arrival at Tronchetto Square in Venice, take a short boat ride to San Marco Square and enjoy a panoramic city tour. At the end of San Marco Square, the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica stands. This basilica is famous for its golden mosaics and Byzantine-style architecture. The famous Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) is also located here, and it is where prisoners took one last look at the city view on their way to their cells. During our city tour, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore are among the places to see. The first thing that catches your attention when you arrive in Venice is, of course, the waterways. The Grand Canal (Canal Grande) is the city’s

main artery, and along this canal stand magnificent palaces dating back to the Renaissance. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Venice and free time to rest.

3 . DAY

 BOLOGNA - FLORENCE

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Optionally, our guests can join the Bologna Tour, to be arranged extra (30 Euro). Bologna is a city located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region and is famous for its history, culture, and delicious cuisine. Bologna is known as "La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa" (The Learned, The Fat, The Red). These nicknames reflect the city’s intellectual heritage, gastronomic richness, and red-brick buildings. The heart of Bologna is Piazza Maggiore, the city’s social and cultural center, and many important structures are located around it. The Basilica of San Petronio is one of the largest churches in Italy and stands out with its magnificent Gothic architecture. Right next to it is Palazzo d’Accursio, the city hall. Right beside Piazza Maggiore is the Fountain of Neptune. This bronze statue, made in the 16th century, depicts the sea god Neptune and is a great place for taking photos. One of Bologna’s most iconic structures is the Asinelli and Garisenda Towers. These two leaning towers are part of the city’s medieval heritage. Quadrilatero (the old market), the Old Stock Exchange building, and the University of Bologna, Europe’s first university building, are among the sights to see.

After our Bologna tour, we depart for Florence. Florence holds a unique place in world cultural heritage as the place where the Renaissance was born and developed. The city witnessed major developments in art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and scientists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. In Florence, which is almost an open-air art gallery, the Arno River dividing the city in two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, masterpieces of the Renaissance, the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo) with the 3rd tallest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its doors are among the sights to see. FLORENCE – (SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO – PISA)

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the Tuscany tour (Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa) (100 €) arranged extra by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Pisa, the romantic Italian city steeped in history. Of course, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This world-famous tower, with its tilted stance, is located in Piazza dei Miracoli, that is, the Square of Miracles. This square dazzles not only with the tower but also with the magnificent Duomo Cathedral and Baptistery made of white marble. Each of them showcases the artistic and architectural richness of medieval Italy. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the nearby Piazza dei Miracoli, we set off for San Gimignano. When you step into the medieval town of San Gimignano, the first thing that will catch your attention is the towers. Once there were 72 towers, but now only 14 remain. These towers were built to show the power and wealth of the old noble families. Piazza del Duomo is the center of the town’s social and religious life. Here stands the San Gimignano Cathedral, built in the 12th century. Inside, you can see magnificent frescoes reflecting the spirit of medieval Italy. Right next to the cathedral is the Town Hall (Palazzo del Popolo). Our next stop is Piazza della Cisterna. This charming square takes its name from the old cistern located in its center. The square gives the feeling of walking through a time tunnel with its stone buildings and historic structures. Here you can browse small shops selling local products and handmade souvenirs, and taste one of the world’s most delicious gelatos at the famous ice cream shop on the corner of the square (Gelateria Dondoli). After our tour, we depart for Siena. When you arrive in Siena, where neighborhood culture still lives on, the first place we will see is Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city. This wide and sloping square is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. In the center of the square is a marble fountain called Fonte Gaia. The square hosts the famous Palio di Siena horse race, held twice a year. This race is an exciting event in which horses from 17 different contrade (neighborhoods) compete. Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena) is also among the sights to see. This magnificent Gothic structure is covered in white and green marble. As you walk through Siena’s narrow and winding streets, history greets you at every corner. While walking through the city, you may occasionally see a wall fresco or an old stone building.
