Tour details

DAY 1

ISTANBUL - MILAN

We meet three hours before the flight at the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport after our Milan flight on Pegasus Airlines scheduled service, then depart for a city tour. Milan is a dynamic city located in northern Italy and is the center of fashion, design, and business. Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is one of Milan’s most iconic structures and is a perfect example of Gothic architecture. This cathedral is the fifth largest church in the world and one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The exterior of the cathedral is made of white marble and decorated with detailed carvings. There are countless statues and carvings on the front facade of the cathedral. The most striking statue is the golden Madonnina statue at the very top of the cathedral. This statue is regarded as the city’s patron saint. Right next to the Duomo is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This magnificent shopping gallery is famous for its glass ceiling and mosaic floors. Here you can find stores of luxury brands, stylish cafes, and restaurants. The gallery has four main entrances, but the most famous one is from Piazza del Duomo. When you enter from here, its eye-catching architecture immediately draws attention; it is a perfect blend of modern engineering and traditional art. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to rest.

DAY 2

LAKE GARDA – VENICE

After breakfast, depart for Lake Garda. We visit Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The waters of Lake Garda have the most beautiful shades of emerald green and blue. Walking around the lake or simply admiring the view is enough to relax anyone. After our Lake Garda excursion, we arrive at Tronchetto Square in Venice, then take a short ferry ride to San Marco Square and continue with a panoramic city tour. At the end of San Marco Square stands the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica. This basilica is famous for its golden mosaics and Byzantine-style architecture. The famous Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) is also located here, and it is the place where prisoners took one last look at the city view as they were taken to their cells. On our city tour, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of Giorgio Maggiore are among the places to see. When you arrive in Venice, the first thing that catches your eye is, of course, the waterways. The Grand Canal (Canal Grande) is the city’s

main artery, and along this canal magnificent palaces from the Renaissance period line up. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel in Venice and free time to rest.

DAY 3

 BOLOGNA - FLORENCE

After breakfast, we depart for Florence. For our guests who wish, an optional Bologna Tour will be organized (30 Euro). Bologna is a city located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region and is famous for its history, culture, and delicious cuisine. Bologna is known as "La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa" (The Learned, The Fat, The Red). These nicknames reflect the city’s intellectual heritage, gastronomic richness, and red-brick buildings. The heart of Bologna is Piazza Maggiore, the city’s social and cultural center, and there are many important structures around it. The Basilica of San Petronio is one of Italy’s largest churches and stands out with its magnificent Gothic architecture. Right next to it is Palazzo d’Accursio, the city hall. Right beside Piazza Maggiore is the Fountain of Neptune. This bronze statue was made in the 16th century and depicts the sea god Neptune, and it is a great place for taking photos. One of Bologna’s most iconic structures is also the Asinelli and Garisenda towers. These two leaning towers are part of the city’s medieval heritage. Quadrilatero (the old market), the Old Stock Exchange Building, and the University of Bologna, Europe’s first university building, are among the places to see.

After our Bologna tour, we depart for Florence. Florence has a unique importance in world cultural heritage as the place where the Renaissance was born and developed. The city witnessed major developments in the fields of art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and scientists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. In Florence, which is practically an open-air art gallery, the Arno River dividing the city in two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria square hosting the statues of Hercules and David, masterpieces of the Renaissance, Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo) with the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its door are among the places to see. In the evening, return to our hotel in Florence and free hours to rest.

DAY 4

FLORENCE – (SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO – PISA)

After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the Tuscany tour (Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa) (100 €), which will be organized as an extra by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Pisa, the romantic Italian city steeped in history. Of course, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This world-famous tower with its tilted stance is located in Piazza dei Miracoli, that is, the Square of Miracles. This square dazzles not only with the tower but also with the magnificent Duomo Cathedral and Baptistery made of white marble. Each showcases the artistic and architectural richness of medieval Italy. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the adjacent Miracle Square, we set off for San Gimignano. When you step into the medieval town of San Gimignano, the first thing that will catch your eye is the towers. While there were once 72 towers, only 14 remain today. These towers were built to display the power and wealth of old noble families. Piazza del Duomo is the center of the town’s social and religious life. Here stands the San Gimignano Cathedral, built in the 12th century. Inside, you can see magnificent frescoes reflecting the spirit of medieval Italy. Right next to the cathedral is the Town Hall (Palazzo del Popolo). Our next stop is Piazza della Cisterna. This charming square takes its name from the old cistern located in the center. The square gives the feeling of walking through a time tunnel with its stone buildings and historical structures. Here you can browse small shops selling local products and handmade souvenirs, and taste one of the world’s most delicious ice creams at the famous gelateria on the corner of the square (Gelateria Dondoli). After our tour, we depart for Siena. When you arrive in Siena, where neighborhood culture still continues, the first place we will see is Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city. This large and sloping square is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. In the center of the square is a marble fountain called Fonte Gaia. The square hosts the famous Palio di Siena horse race, held twice every year. This race is an exciting event in which horses from 17 different contrade (neighborhoods) compete. Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena) is also among the places to see. This magnificent Gothic structure is covered in white and green marble. As you walk through Siena’s narrow and winding streets, history greets you at every corner. While walking in the city, from time to time you may see a wall fresco or an old stone building. one day return. The Temple of Hadrian, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps, which consist of 135 steps and include the fountain of the sunken ship, are among the places to see. In the evening, return to our hotel and free hours to rest.
