İSTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME
We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport Domestic Terminal 3 hours before the flight and, after completing ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures, fly to Bologna at 12:40 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1217. After arriving in Bologna at 14:20 local time, we depart for Siena with our private coach waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow medieval streets, small avenues, and Campo Square, considered one of the largest squares in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to this square, we set off for our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After a sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, a city referred to as Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” presenting you with art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, and buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city every season, Rome is able to carry even these crowds without overwhelming people, with all its beauty and elegance. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see, panoramically, the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where, according to legend, those who throw a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join the extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Starting by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit the Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where the Pope greets the public from his office on special occasions, with the St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 statues of saints, located. After the free time, we start our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we blend in with the local people and feel like residents of the city ourselves, we will experience the real Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto areas, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island, which is connected to the city by two bridges, with its authenticity and simplicity, along with cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops. After our walking tour through the narrow, labyrinth-like back streets lined with small tables, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (The Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour, Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola are among the sights to be seen. After the city tour, during the free time offered, guests who wish may join the extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). We begin our tour with lunch at a local restaurant and visit Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city; thanks to long excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city has been brought to light in all its liveliness. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Or, guests who wish may join the extra Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). After the city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, dazzling beaches, breathtaking views, and its Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, and admired by visitors for combining Italian character and charm with Mediterranean style, we offer free time. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano, which has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day, is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvel towers that survived from 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters. After a sightseeing tour in San Gimignano’s narrow streets, each of which opens onto the town square and gives visitors the feeling of taking a time journey to the Middle Ages, and in its squares where we can see the 14 magnificent towers panoramically, we continue our journey to Florence and organize our city tour upon arrival. On our city tour in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately draws attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which scenes from the stories of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Holy Quran, are represented. Afterwards, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous David statue is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and goldsmith shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Pisa. In our tour in Pisa, which we will carry out upon arrival, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Piazza dei Miracoli are among the places to be visited. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes running parallel to the coast, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages through hiking routes and train connections. After our sightseeing tour in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with all its beauty, Portofino captivates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views that are truly worth seeing. MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET
After breakfast, we depart for Como. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro). Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences; during our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights to be seen. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Como. Upon arrival, on our tour, we will visit Lake Como, which hosts summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and is famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break while enjoying the lake’s unique scenery. After the free time in Como, we head for our visit to the outlet center. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat)
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and to the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s best-known love story today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot along Via Mazzini (the main square) and Piazza delle Erbe, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we will also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join the extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic works such as St. Mark’s Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and which was built from stone and marble, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of splendor and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, a fishing village famous for its lace and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, at the time indicated by our guide, we depart for Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 15:25 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 local time and end of our tour.
