İSTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME
After arriving at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight and completing ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport procedures, we fly to Bologna at 07:50 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1321. After our arrival in Bologna at 09:30 local time, we depart for Siena with our private bus waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow streets and small avenues dating back to the Middle Ages, as well as Campo Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe. After an enjoyable tour in Siena around Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to this square, we head to our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares, a fascinating lake and valley view combine with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, a city called Urbs caput mundi, that is, the “city at the center of the world”; offering art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome is able to carry even these crowds without overwhelming people, with all its beauty and aesthetics. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and bears witness to 23 centuries of history, the ancient Colosseum, which became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where legend says that anyone who throws a coin in will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo will be among the places seen panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). Starting with views of Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic sect of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in St. Peter’s Square (San Pietro Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship and where, on special days, the Pope greets the public by coming out from his office, and where San Pietro Cathedral, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 saints’ statues, is located. After the free time, we start our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island connected to the city by 2 bridges, are among the places seen panoramically, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with its cafés, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops besides its naturalness and simplicity. After a walking tour through its narrow backstreets, where small tables are set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Amalfi Pearl Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, the panoramic city tour we will arrange includes Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola among the places to be seen. After the city tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join our extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). Starting with lunch at a local restaurant, Pompeii, which we will visit on this tour and which stretches at the foot of Mount Vesuvius that erupted in 79 AD and destroyed the city, was brought to light in all its vitality as a result of archaeologists’ long excavations in 1748. We complete our tour with our visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Or guests who wish may join our extra Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). After our city tour and sightseeing in Sorrento, located on the Amalfi coast, famous for its history dating back to prehistoric times, for fascinating visitors by combining Italian character and charm with Mediterranean style, and for its small tourist boutiques, striking beaches, breathtaking views, and Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur, we offer free time. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano, which has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List; due to the 14 architectural wonder towers that managed to survive out of 76 as a result of wars and natural disasters, it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers.” After our sightseeing in San Gimignano, where time seems to have stopped and visitors feel as if they are on a journey back to the Middle Ages, and in its squares where we can panoramically view the 14 magnificent towers from its narrow streets, each opening onto the town square, we continue our journey to Florence and, upon arrival, arrange our city tour. On our city tour in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which immediately draws attention with its orange-colored dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which the stories of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Holy Quran, are depicted as representations. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which for centuries was Florence’s political and social center and where Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, will be among the places seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Pisa. On our tour upon arrival in Pisa, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square will be among the places to visit. After a short free time provided for a photo break, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is a region located on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced hillsides stretching parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages through walking routes and train connections. Completing our tour with a sightseeing visit and tour in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses, inspired songs with its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean view. After our Portofino excursion, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET
After breakfast, we depart for Como. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro). Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences; during our tour there, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Como. On our tour upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, which hosts summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and is famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty; we will also have a photo break accompanied by the lake’s unique view. After the free time in Como, we depart for our outlet center visit. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). On our tour, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, which will fascinate us with its unique nature, wonderful view, and city park, and we will enjoy the unique scenery by photographing the beautiful nature. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to the outlet center. After a pleasant free time for affordable and quality shopping at the outlet center, which hosts the stylish stores of many prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we return to our hotel in the Milan region and offer free time to rest.
MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour)
After breakfast and check-out, we head to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour (50 Euro). Verona, listed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and to the home of the famous work Romeo and Juliet by the renowned English writer Shakespeare, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot through Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafés, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and which was built of stone and marble, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world and famous for its lace. After our tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Venice region, where we offer room assignment and free time to rest.
VENICE – (Bled Lake Tour) – LJUBLJANA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out, we depart to arrange our Ljubljana city tour. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Bled Lake Tour (50 Euro). We arrive at Bled Lake. After a peaceful sightseeing tour of Bled, famous for the island built in the middle of an emerald-green mountain lake of the same name, with its island church and the Bled Castle on the high hills, we continue our journey to Ljubljana, the capital and largest city of Slovenia. During our tour in Ljubljana, which has a very rich cultural and architectural heritage because of its location at the intersection of Alpine, Central European, and Mediterranean cultures, the places to be seen include Vodnik Square, Ljubljana Castle, St. Nikolaja Cathedral, Zmajski Most, Old Square, the Historic Fountain, and People’s Square. After the city tour, we head to Ljubljana Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. After completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 20:15 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1064. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:40 local time and the end of our tour.
