The Hermitage Museum, founded in 1764 by Empress Catherine II, has a unique collection and is today considered one of the world’s largest and most established art museums. Initially created as Catherine’s private art collection, the museum gradually grew with purchases and donations during the tsarist period and opened to the public in 1852. The museum consists of a total of six historic buildings, foremost among them the Winter Palace, dazzling with its baroque architecture. These structures house not only works of art but also the glorious past of the Russian Empire. Especially the capture of the Winter Palace during the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution was one of the most symbolic moments in Russian history. The Hermitage collection includes works by masters of world art such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rubens, Van Gogh, Monet and Picasso. In addition, archaeological artifacts from the ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilizations are also of great interest. With more than approximately 3 million works, the Hermitage is not just a museum, but also a cultural temple where art and history intertwine. It offers every visitor the splendor of the past and humanity’s artistic heritage. After the tour, it will continue with Peter and Paul Fortress. Built by Peter in the 1700s in St. Petersburg, this fortress, the first structure in the city, is located on the Neva River.

Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, are required to inform their guides. 10- There are no refunds for services included in the price if guests do not participate in the indicated tour or meal services. About Flights 11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and passengers; in potential disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply. 12- Delays or changes in flight times may occur on scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of flight time changes/cancellations by purchasing the trip. 13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee. 14- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of a purchased round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline. 15- The check-in and boarding processes to be completed by those participating in flights are personal responsibilities and must be done by the guests at the relevant airline counters or online through the airline's websites prior to the flight. 16- Last-minute delays and gate changes in flights are announced by sound at the airports and displayed on information boards in the area. This information must be followed by the guests themselves. 17- The Agency is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by the airline rules for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete these procedures on time but do not board the plane. Guests who miss the flight are responsible for the costs of acquiring new round-trip flight tickets and any necessary transfers in the destination area. 18- The general baggage allowance for outbound flights from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the country of destination. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance for those flights may drop to 15 kg. The excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency. 19- Guests who wish to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class) after the purchase should note that upgrades can only be made depending on the availability of the airline (please check with your airline membership). The flight tickets will be issued according to this information. Any penalties incurred from incorrect information resulting in flight ticket cancellations or changes will be charged to the guests. 25- To use your mobile phone abroad, check with your phone provider before leaving Turkey to ensure your phone is enabled for international use. 26- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00. 27- Requests related to the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by the Agency. Efforts will be made to accommodate booked rooms according to the guest's preferences depending on the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency. 28- The breakfast provided at hotels may differ from the rich breakfast commonly found in Turkish cuisine. It is usually served as a continental breakfast comprising limited choices of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for groups. 29- In some cases, a double room may contain a twin bed instead. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined when necessary. 30- The policies for extra beds and cribs vary by hotel and room type. 31- All additional beds and infant cribs are provided upon request and are subject to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel. 32- The capacity for an additional bed or infant crib in the room is 1 (maximum). 33- In triple rooms, there is an additional bed application. In these types of rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. Additional beds are made up of beds referred to as pull-out beds or coach beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept the potential crowding and types of beds due to additional beds that may be added to the standard room in their reservations for triple rooms and/or reservations with children. 34- If guests misrepresent the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children in hotel reservations, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the ages of the children. 35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child is staying with two adults. Child discounts apply only to "single child" who meets the age group while staying with two adults. 36- The currency exchange during the day reflects in TL prices. The rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests, and any extra services obtained at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) may be subject to extra charges by the hotel and are not included in the payment at the time of purchase, and must be paid directly to the hotel during your stay. 37- Some countries may have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any taxes related to cities, tourism, or other taxes currently applied will be collected by the hotel from the guest during entry or exit. 38- The distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may extend due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the visited country, road works, and conditions. 39- The Agency may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be used without altering the content of the program in case of necessity or as deemed appropriate. 40- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of the participants of the tour are under their own responsibility, and the Agency is not responsible for lost/forgotten/stolen items. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger. 6- Guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by the police to show a document of mutual consent from both parents when entering and exiting the country; hence, it is advisable for guests under 18 and their parents to be attentive to this matter.
