Thessaloniki & Kavala Tour Every Friday Departure 2026

Day 1: Istanbul – Ipsala

We greet our guests at the designated locations and begin our journey. Following the Tekirdağ - Keşan - Ipsala route, we arrive at the Ipsala Turkish border.

Day 2: Thessaloniki

Upon arrival in Thessaloniki in the morning, we take a panoramic city tour; the promenade, White Tower, Rotating Tower, fair square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, the Aya Dimitros Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Greece, the Statue of Alexander the Great, Hamza Bey Mosque, the E. Venezelo - P. Konstantin statues, and the Vardar, Macedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios squares are among the places to see. At the end of the tour, we visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk and settle into our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join an extra Greek tavern experience, with delicious food, Greek music, and unlimited entertainment accompanied by bouzouki. (50 EUR)

Day 3: Thessaloniki - Kavala – Komotini – Dedeağaç – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Kavala. After approximately a 2–3 hour journey, we arrive in Kavala and take a panoramic city tour. After viewing the Aqueducts, Port, Castle, 19th-century Neoclassical buildings, Pangia, Old and New City, Acropolis, Lighthouse, Ag. Nicholas and Teodoro Kimissi churches, and the mansion and statue of Kavala-born Mehmet Ali Pasha, there will be free time for lunch. After the meeting, the return journey begins. We travel to the Ipsala border gate, passing panoramically through the cities of Xanthi, Komotini, and Dedeağaç. Guests who wish may join an extra Porto Lagos tour organized by our guide. (10 EUR / Our tour will take place if all of the group participates) After passport and customs procedures, we continue to Istanbul via the Keşan – Tekirdağ – Silivri highway. Following a free meatball break in Tekirdağ, the program ends with arrival at the Istanbul starting points in the evening.
