Day 1 Istanbul - Thessaloniki

We meet at 05:00 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul New Airport International Terminal. After ticketing and passport procedures, we depart for Thessaloniki on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1881 at 08:05. After our arrival in Thessaloniki at 08:25 local time, we take a panoramic Thessaloniki city tour. During our city tour, our first stop will be the Church of Agios Dimitrios, one of the most important churches in Thessaloniki, located in the city center and giving its name to the street it is on. After this beautiful structure, the House of the Great Leader Atatürk (Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Thessaloniki), the Promenade, the White Tower, the Round Tower, and the Exhibition Square are among the places to see. After our city tour, transfer to our hotel. Room assignment and check-in.

Day 2 Thessaloniki

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time. Guests who wish can join the full-day extra Edessa Waterfalls Tour (50 €). In this tour, we first depart for Giannitsa, known as Yenice-i Vardar during the Ottoman period. After seeing the Tomb of Gazi Evrenos Bey and the clock tower, we give free time. After free time, we make a shopping break at a supermarket along the way. After shopping, we go to the city of Edessa, also known as Vodina. We see the park and the famous waterfalls here and give a photo break. Then we give free time for lunch and photos. After free time, we return to our hotel in Thessaloniki.

Day 3 Thessaloniki

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time. Guests can join the Kavala – Porto Lagos tour (60 €). We depart towards Kavala. Upon arrival in Kavala, we start our panoramic city tour. As we head toward the old town, the first place we will see is the Church of St. Nicholas. The mosque built by Suleiman the Magnificent in 1530 in the name of Ibrahim Pasha is shortened by its minaret in 1926, turned into a bell tower and converted into a church, and Christian mosaics are added in front of it. Other historical places we will see on our tour: Kavala Castle, the house of Mehmet Ali Pasha of Kavala, the imaret currently used as a hotel, the aqueduct, and the old town inside the castle. After our panoramic Kavala city tour, we depart for Porto Lagos. We will visit the Church of Agios Nikolaos by walking on the bridge built over Lake Vistonida. Then we depart for our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Thessaloniki - Istanbul

After breakfast, we depart for Thessaloniki Airport. We depart for Istanbul at 21:50 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. After check-in and baggage procedures, our tour ends with our arrival at Istanbul New Airport at 00:20 local time. We hope to see you on your next trip.

Need to Know

GENERAL TERMS

1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program.

2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the Agency can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In this case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour fee will be refunded to the guest. In the case of refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour, domestic flight connections purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa service has been provided using travel health insurance on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they are considered used; if a visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance can be canceled and the fee will be refunded. If the guest has purchased domestic flight connections from a different service provider independent of the Agency, they cannot claim any refund from the Agency in case of cancellation of the trip by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance all possible material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour when purchasing the tour, and the Agency cannot be held responsible.

3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the Agency has the right to show goodwill by not canceling the tour. In this case, individual provision of the tour for the guest is considered, and the guide service included in the package will only cover the overseas arrival-departure transfers.

Cancellation and Changes

4- In our tours, the tickets for transportation are arranged at the time of reservation. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date will incur a penalty for these flight ticket costs, which do not have the right of cancellation & change and refund.

5- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by informing the Agency in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding flight tickets for which payment has been made and/or a commitment has been undertaken to the airline. If the travel start date is less than 31 days away, they can cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the flight ticket price; if it is 15 days or less to the travel start date, they can cancel by paying the entire tour fee as a penalty. If cancellation is requested, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary according to the requested cancellation period, so it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund process. The Agency cannot make any commitments regarding the cancellation refunds of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide according to the situation of the museums and archaeological sites in the places to be visited (open/closed) and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are arranged for general introduction to the cities and are conducted as panoramic tours with narration from the vehicle without including museum or archaeological site entrance. These tours last no more than 2-3 hours. The Agency is not responsible for the inability to carry out panoramic tours that cannot be conducted if local authorities prohibit entry or visit due to closed roads or any events on the dates and times specified in the program, or if weather conditions make it impossible to carry out the tour. Some tours may be conducted using public transport or on foot where vehicle access is not permitted.

8- Our guide may change the days of the city tour and/or additional tours based on the number of participants, the closure of the museum or archaeological site, and these changes also apply in case of flight time changes.

9- Important points to consider during our tours conducted by speed boats are; no heavy meals or excessive amounts of water should be consumed just before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck issues and pregnant guests must inform their guides of their condition.

10- There is no refund for participation in services such as tours or meals included in the prices if not attended.

About Flights

11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention, will apply.

12- There may be delays or changes in the flight schedules for scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obligated to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of flight time changes/cancellations when purchasing the tour.

13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.

14- According to airline regulations; if the outbound flight of round-trip airline tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

15- Check-in and boarding processes for those participating in tours with flights are personal procedures, and guests are obliged to perform these processes before flights at airports, at the respective airline counters, or online on the airline companies' websites.

16- Last-minute delays and gate changes in flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information boards at the airport. This information must be followed up by the guests themselves.

17- Guests who are not present at the designated airport at the times indicated by airline regulations for participation in tours, who do not perform check-in and boarding processes on time, or who perform these processes on time but do not board the plane are not deemed to be the responsibility of the Agency in case of inability to make the flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip airline tickets to participate in the tour and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss their flight are their own responsibility.

18- The general luggage weight limit for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this may drop to 15 kg for those internal flights. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.

19- For guests who wish to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); the upgrade transactions can be made depending on the availability of the airline (check the airline to which you belong) after the tickets have been issued. No guarantees of upgrades for each flight are provided, so check whether the tickets for the program are in an upgradeable class.

20- In some airlines, food and online check-in services may be subject to an additional fee.

Other Matters

21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellation processes made directly by the guest with the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of the Agency will apply.

22- In situations where the name(s) of the hotel(s) are not specified in the tour program but only category information is provided and/or options are offered for the same destination, the hotel name will be communicated to the guest by the Agency 48 hours before the travel date.

23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther away than the specified locations or kilometers. In this case, the Agency will notify the guest 15 days before the departure date of the tour.

24- At the time of registering for the purchased tour; the guest must accurately enter/declare their name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Penalties for cancellations or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

25- To be able to use mobile phones abroad, please ensure before leaving Turkey that your phone is enabled for international use by contacting your service provider.

26- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.

27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, near general areas, smoking/non-smoking, type of bed) are communicated to the hotel by the Agency. Care is taken to ensure that the reserved rooms meet the guests’ preferences according to hotel availability. The execution of these requests depends on availability at the time of check-in, and the Agency cannot guarantee this.

28- Breakfast offered in hotels may differ from the rich traditional Turkish breakfast. Generally, it is served as a limited continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a separate room designated for groups.

29- In some cases, a double room may have two single beds instead of a double bed. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be connected if necessary.

30- The child and extra bed policy may vary depending on each hotel and room type.

31- Any extra bed and baby cot are provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel.

32- The capacity for additional beds or baby cots in the room is a maximum of 1.

33- In triple rooms, there is an application for an extra bed, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds include folding and coach beds. Guests accept to be aware of the coziness in the rooms due to extra beds added to standard rooms in their triple room or with children reservations.

34- If the number of children sharing accommodation with adults and their ages are incorrectly declared in hotel bookings, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, responsibility falls on the guest who made the incorrect declaration. Hotels may request identification for age verification for children.

35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are only valid when the child is accommodated alongside two adults. Child discounts apply to “single child” within the age group that stays with two adults.

36- Daily currency exchange rates are reflected in TL prices. The rates applicable at the time of payment will apply. Additional requests you make or some additional services (mini-bar, ironing, etc.) you may receive at the hotel may incur extra charges. These costs are not included at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

37- Some countries may have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local level taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes currently in effect will be collected from the guest by the hotel during check-in or check-out.

38- The travel distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country visited, road works, and other conditions.

39- The Agency may change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used if deemed necessary or in compulsory situations without altering the content of the program.

40- Passengers participating in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identities, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the costs of delivering them to the country and/or person are borne by the item owner.

41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any health-related medications and reports with them.

42- For possible extra expenses, upon hotel check-in, a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel. The return of the requested deposit at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no intervention.

Visa and Passport

1- Guests must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the travel.

2- At customs crossings/border gates, to stamp the entry-exit seal on your passport, it must have at least 2 blank pages.

3- Being exempt from a visa or having a visa does not guarantee entry/exit to the countries on this tour; passport control has the authority to refuse entry to the country; the Agency is not responsible for this situation, and the responsibility lies with the passenger.

4- Non-Turkish citizens or guests with dual citizenship who will participate in the tour using another country's passport must inquire about the visa procedures of the country they will be traveling to directly with the relevant consulates, otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for resulting consequences.

5- To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports; passports should be renewed. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

6- Guests under 18 years old are advised to show sensitivity in this matter as they may be required to present a document showing the joint consent of their parents when traveling alone or with only one parent during entry-exit procedures.
