GENERAL CONDITIONS
1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of it.
2- If there is not enough participation for the trip, the Agency may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such cases, the cancellation notice will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour, the same refund policy applies; the domestic flight connection purchased from the agency will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa service or travel health insurance has been used for visa application on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded once used. If no visa application was made, then visas and travel health insurance will be canceled and the fees refunded. If the guest obtained the domestic connection flight from a provider other than the agency, in case of cancellation by the agency, they cannot request any refund from the agency. The guest agrees in advance to any material or moral loss resulting from the cancellation of the tour, and the agency cannot be held responsible.
3- If there is not enough participation, the Agency has the good-faith right to not cancel the tour. In this case, the tour will be provided individually for the guest, and the guide service included in the package will only cover the international departure and return transfers.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Tickets for transportation are issued at the time of reservation. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date will be subject to a penalty, and the ticket cost cannot be refunded or changed.
5- Guests may notify the Agency in writing up to 30 days before the departure date to cancel, except for tickets that have been paid or committed to airlines. For cancellations less than 31 days before the start, a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee will be charged if cancellations occur 31-15 days prior; if 15 days or less remain, the full tour fee will be penalized. For additional services such as domestic connections, visa services, or travel health insurance, cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the notice period, and prior inquiry is necessary. The agency cannot guarantee refunds for these supplementary services.
Guided Services and Extra Tours
6- The days and times of the tours indicated in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and historical sites and weather conditions. During the tours, different guides may accompany the guests.
7- Panorama city tours included in the package are brief, 2-3 hour tours aimed at general city introduction, often without entrance to museums or historical sites, and are conducted from within the vehicle with guide commentary. These tours may not take place if local authorities do not permit entry, if sites are closed due to events, or due to weather conditions. The agency is not responsible for these changes. Some tours in restricted areas may be conducted by public transport or on foot when access by vehicle is not permitted.
8- The guide may modify city tour or supplementary tour dates based on the number of participants and site closures, including changes in flight times.
9- For tours using Speed Boats, participants should avoid heavy meals just before boarding and not drink excessive water. Those with stomach, back, neck issues or pregnant guests should inform guides of their conditions.
10- If guests do not participate in services specified as included in the price, such as specific tours or meals, no refunds will be made.
Flights
11- The agency acts as an intermediary between travelers and airlines; in case of disputes, relevant Turkish legislation, the Hague Protocol, and the Warsaw Convention will apply.
12- In scheduled and charter flights, delays or changes in flight times may occur. The agency will inform about such changes as soon as possible. Guests accept the risk of flight time changes or cancellations when purchasing the tour.
13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax.
14- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight purchased as part of a round trip is not used, the return flight may be canceled by the airline.
15- Passengers participating in air tours are responsible for check-in and boarding procedures. These must be completed individually via airport counters or online before the flight.
16- Last-minute delays or gate changes are announced at airports via loudspeakers and displayed on information screens. Guests should monitor these announcements themselves.
17- Guests must be present at the designated airport at the specified times, complete check-in and boarding procedures, or they risk missing their flight. The agency is not responsible if guests fail to do so. Those who miss their flight are responsible for obtaining new tickets and covering all additional transportation costs.
18- The standard luggage allowance for flights departing Turkey is 20 kg, which may vary depending on the airline and destination country. For domestic flights within the destination, the luggage limit may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage fees are determined by airlines and are not the agency’s responsibility.
19- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets (business or first class) after issuance can do so subject to airline availability and are based on miles. No upgrade guarantees are provided for all flights; guests should verify if their tickets are eligible for upgrade.
20- Some airlines may charge extra for onboard catering and online check-in services.
Other Matters
21- The agency is not responsible for any changes or cancellations made directly with the hotel by the guest. In such cases, the cancellation policies of the hotel apply.
22- If the hotel name is not specified but only the category is provided or multiple options are offered for the same destination, the agency will inform the guest at least 48 hours before departure.
23- During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, or sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther than usual from the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, the agency will notify the guest at least 15 days prior to departure.
24- During reservation, the guest must accurately enter their passport name, date of birth, passport number, and related details into the system. These details are used for ticketing. Incorrect information may result in ticket cancellations or changes, with penalties charged to the guest.
25- To use your mobile phone abroad, guests should verify with their service provider before leaving Turkey whether their phone is unlocked for international use.
26- Hotel check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is by 12:00.
27- The agency will notify the hotel of requests regarding the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type). While efforts are made to accommodate preferences, these are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
28- Breakfast at hotels generally consists of a limited continental style meal (butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee) and may be served in a separate room for groups.
29- In some cases, twin rooms may have double beds, as many European hotels offer rooms where two beds can be joined.
30- Child and extra bed policies vary by hotel and room type.
31- Additional beds and cribs are supplied upon request and subject to availability and hotel approval.
32- The capacity for additional beds or cribs in a room is limited to one.
33- Triple rooms typically consist of one large bed and one extra bed, which may be smaller than standard beds; the extra beds are foldable or coach beds. Guests agree to potential crowding and bed types in such rooms when booking.
34- If the hotel bookings specify the number and ages of children with adults but the information is incorrect, the hotel may charge extra fees. Responsibility for such errors lies with the guest. Identification may be requested by the hotel for age verification.
35- In reservations with 2 adults and 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child rates are applicable only when the child stays with two adults and matches the age group for discount.
36- Exchange rate fluctuations during the day are reflected in TL prices. Payments are based on current rates at the time of payment. Additional services (mini bar, iron, etc.) at the hotel are extra and payable directly at checkout.
37- Some countries impose city, tourism, or local taxes that are collected by the hotel upon entry or exit.
38- The distances shown in the itinerary are map-based; travel times may increase due to traffic, weather, geographical conditions, construction, or road conditions.
39- The agency may change the order of cities or airlines in the itinerary without altering the core program if necessary.
40- Personal belongings, luggage, passports, and identity documents are the responsibility of the guests. The agency is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items. Costs related to retrieving lost items are borne by the owner.
41- Guests must carry travel health insurance policies, medications, and reports if applicable.
42- Additional expenses such as deposits for hotel check-in may be requested at check-in for official identification, passports, credit cards, or cash. Refunds of deposits are performed directly between the hotel and the guest; the agency does not interfere in this process.
Visa and Passport
1- Guests’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip.
2- To obtain entry/exit stamps at border crossings, passports must have at least 2 blank pages.
3- Possession of a visa or exemption from visa does not guarantee entry or exit; border control officers have the right to deny entry or exit. The agency is not responsible for this; the responsibility lies with the traveler.
4- Non-Turkish citizens or those holding dual citizenship using another country's passport should consult relevant consulates regarding visa procedures. Failure to do so is at their own risk, and the agency is not responsible for resulting issues.
5- Passports that are torn, damaged, wet, or similarly compromised need to be renewed to avoid problems at border points. Responsibility for failure to renew rests with the passenger.
6- Guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked to show a parental consent document upon entry or exit. Guests and parents should be aware of this requirement.
