Ayvalık – Lesvos Island (Mytilini City Tour)
Meeting at 07:30 in front of Ayvalık Port and passing through passport control. After boarding procedures, our journey to the beautiful port of Mytilini, Lesvos Island, begins at 08:45, lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The third-largest Greek island after Rhodes and Crete, Lesvos is also known as Midilli in Turkish, often called the Emerald Island, and its lush nature will enchant us during the 4 days ahead. Our planned arrival time is 10:15, and after passport controls at the port, we will meet our guide waiting for us. Guests planning to obtain a door visa should note that their procedures may take longer; they will be directed by the officials at passport exit and the authorized agency across the port to join our group.
In the Midilli City Tour, we will visit Ayios Therapondas Church, the marketplace, Metropolitan Church, Ottoman-era public buildings, a mosque, bathhouse, and examples of civil architecture. Turkish neighborhoods and local influences will catch your attention immediately. Afterward, we will have free time for lunch. Following free time, we will complete check-in at our hotel, then enjoy additional leisure time. You can relax at beaches nearby, visit shopping centers with duty-free shops, or enjoy Greek coffee frappe and ice cream.

Mantamados – Molivos – Taverna Night
After breakfast at our hotel, we will meet at the time specified by our guide and begin our journey to some of the most popular towns of Midilli.
We will first stop briefly at Lidl supermarket for those who wish to shop. Then, we will visit the olive oil factory, known as a major income source and famous for its trees on the island, where we will listen to the guide’s narration and participate in tastings. We will enjoy a cool coffee at a café under the trees next to the monastery. Then, we will head to Molivos, also known as Mithymna, one of the most lively towns on the island. This town has been under UNESCO protection since 1965 and reflects the spirit of Alaçatı and Şirince with its stone houses. We will visit the Molivos Castle, believed to have been founded by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century, and which was completed by the Ottomans in the 14th century. We will take a pleasant walking tour among narrow streets and shops down to the harbor, where we will have free time. We will gather at the designated time and drive through the panoramic Petra village. After completing our day’s activities, we will return. On the way back, those interested can stop briefly at Jumbo shopping market, and then we will head to our hotel for the Taverna Night.
Meeting at the hotel lobby at the specified time for the Greek Night. After an enjoyable Greek evening, we will return to our hotel for leisure.
