DAY 1 ISTANBUL – MARSEILLE
Meeting with our valued guests in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter at the Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal. Flight to Marseille after baggage and ticket procedures. After our arrival, we will take part in a panoramic Marseille city tour, where the 19th-century Notre Dame de la Garde basilica, the Old Port, and Marseille Cathedral are among the sights to see. Free time after our tour. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 2 MARSEILLE
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we depart for the extra optional Aix-en-Provence & Avignon & Arles Tour (100€ per person) for guests who wish to join. Our first stop is Aix-en-Provence, which fascinates us with its natural beauty. On our tour, Fountain of the Dolphins, Priests' Fountain, Albertas and Cardeurs Squares, Saint Sauveur Cathedral, and Cours Mirabeau are among the sights to see. Our next stop is the city of Avignon. The Theatre Festival (Festival d’Avignon), held every July since 1947, the medieval city walls, the Palais des Papes, and the world-famous Pont St. Bénézet Bridge (Pont d’Avignon), which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, are among the places we will see. Then our next stop is Arles. This city, which houses Van Gogh's most important paintings such as “Starry Night” and “The Langlois Bridge and the Woman with a Parasol,” is also known as the place where he cut off his ear in a fit of rage. He also hosted Gauguin in this city, where he stayed for about 14 months. Apart from the place where the painter painted “Starry Night,” we will also visit the 25,000-seat amphitheater built in the Roman period and its charming narrow streets panoramically. DAY 3 MARSEILLE – TOULOUSE
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we set off for Toulouse, but before that, guests who wish can join the extra en route tour organized by our guide on the route, namely the Carcassonne Tour (45€ per person). As we stroll through this city, whose history dates back to the 6th century BC, you will feel as if you have traveled back to the Middle Ages. Carcassonne, one of the most magnificent fortress cities to have survived to the present day, was restored in 1997 and added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. After our tour, we continue our journey to Toulouse. Upon our arrival in Toulouse, we take part in a panoramic Toulouse city tour. During our city tour, we will explore the city’s delightful streets and buildings on foot starting from Capitole Square. The largest Roman-style gate in the world, Saint Sernin Basilica, Jacobins Monastery, one of the most beautiful examples from the 14th century in the southern region, Capitole City Hall, and Bernuy, one of the most elegant examples of Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian styles built in the 16th century, are among the places to see. DAY 4 TOULOUSE – BORDEAUX
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we set off for Toulouse, but before that, guests who wish can join the extra en route tour en route organized by our guide, namely the Albi Tour (45€ per person). On this tour, we will have the opportunity to see Albi, the most famous town in France’s Pyrenees region. Albi suffered severe damage as a result of the Albigensian Crusades, which began in 1209. After the Albigensian Crusades, it came under the political and cultural dominance of Northern France and, religiously, the Catholic Church. On the city tour we will take here, Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, the 22 August 1944 Bridge, named after the day Paris was liberated from enemy occupation, Pont Vieux (Old Bridge), and the Berbie Palace built by Priest Bernard de Castanet are among the places to see. After the tour, we head to Bordeaux. Arrival in Bordeaux and the panoramic Bordeaux city tour. On our tour, the Rohan Palace, St. Andre Cathedral, the Big Clock Tower, the Garonne River, Stone Bridge, Exchange Square, the Aquitaine Museum, and St. Michel Basilica are among the places to see. DAY 5 BORDEAUX – BILBAO
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we set off for Bordeaux, but before that, guests who wish can join the extra en route tour en route organized by our guide, namely the Biarritz & San Sebastian Tour (65€ per person). On our tour, we will visit Biarritz, one of France's most famous surfing centers and, thanks to the summer palace Napoleon had built for his wife, one of the most popular holiday resorts of the time, with its Basque-style houses with triangular roofs, art deco villas, and historical buildings. After our Biarritz city tour, we head to San Sebastian, the most famous city in the Basque region. After the tour, our journey to Bilbao continues from where it left off. Upon arrival, panoramic Bilbao city tour. On our tour, Government House, City Hall, Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts, San Anton Church, Santiago Cathedral, and Guggenheim Museum are among the places we will see. Free time after our tour and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
DAY 6 DAY BILBAO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, transfer to Bilbao Airport. After the check-in procedures are completed, depart for Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul and end of our tour.
