DAY 1
ISTANBUL – MOSCOW
You must be present at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight time. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Moscow at 09:45 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 4017. Arrival in Moscow at 13:30 local time, followed by a panoramic city tour with our private bus. The Red Square, which has hosted historical events and social movements, draws attention with important structures such as St. Basil's Cathedral, famous for its colorful onion domes, the Kremlin Palace, the Bolshoi Theatre, and Tverskaya Street. In addition, other places that can be seen panoramically, such as Gorky Park, Novodevichy Monastery, Swan Lake, Luzhniki Stadium, Sparrow Hills, and Moscow University, reflect the rich cultural heritage of this region. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest.
DAY 2
MOSCOW
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for our tour including the Kremlin, Moscow Metro, Arbat Street, and Nazim Hikmet Cemetery. The impressive stations of the Moscow Metro are decorated with paintings, motifs, and mosaics that rival art galleries. While enjoying this aesthetic atmosphere, you can experience delicious examples of Russian and international cuisine in elegant cafes reminiscent of Paris and observe the daily life of the local people. Built by Stalin in 1931, the Moscow Metro may rival the subways of New York, Paris, or London in size, but in terms of interior architecture and decoration, it is considered the most beautiful subway in the world. Arbat Street, which passes through the center of Moscow, is closed to traffic and is a road that everyone who visits this city must walk along and enjoy from end to end. On this street, you can browse colorful shop windows and taste delicious examples of Russian and international cuisine. After our tour, we will visit the grave of the great poet Nazim Hikmet. At the end of the tour, free time will be given for lunch, and after the meal we will start our Kremlin tour. Built in the 12th century, the Kremlin is one of the symbols of Moscow and Russia. During the visit, you will be able to see the 9 churches located in the Palace Garden, the Bell Tower famous for its 156 bells, the Tsar Bell weighing 201,924 kilograms, the cannon made in 1586 but never used, weighing 15 tons, and its 1-ton cannonballs. DAY 3
MOSCOW – ST. PETERSBURG
After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and transfer to the train station for our journey to St. Petersburg. We depart for St. Petersburg by high-speed train. We begin our city tour in St. Petersburg, known as the imperial capital of Russia and called the "Venice of the North". Our sightseeing in the city includes Nevsky Prospect, a street reminiscent of Champs-Élysées in Paris, Palace Square where the first Russian revolution began in 1905, and the Hermitage Museum, which here has the world's largest art collection. In addition, we will have the opportunity to see panoramically the Aurora Cruiser, symbol of the revolution, the Old Port lighthouses, Peter and Paul Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Arts Square, and the Bronze Horseman statue of Peter the Great. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest.
DAY 4
ST. PETERSBURG
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel and begin our Canal, Hermitage Palace and Museum tour. The Hermitage Museum, which houses approximately 4 million works from the Tsarist period, is located on the banks of the Neva River and is one of the largest museums in the world and in Russia. It entered the Guinness Book of Records as the museum with the largest collection of paintings. After free time for lunch, we set out on a unique canal tour of St. Petersburg. In the city, which is divided into islands by canals opened during the era of Peter the Great, you will have the chance to see the fascinating 18th-century architectural structures on the Neva River and its canals from a different perspective. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest.
DAY 5
ST. PETERSBURG
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our Pushkin Town and Peterhof Palace Park tour. Located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland and designed by Tsar Peter and built by Italian architect Rastrelli, the summer palace has a splendor rivaling the Palace of Versailles in Paris. Dazzling with 150 monumental fountains and 4 waterfalls in its gardens, this complex was carefully restored while preserving its original grandeur, despite being heavily damaged during World War II. After our Peterhof tour, free time will be given for lunch, and then we will begin our Pushkin Town and Ekaterina Palace tour. Built in the 18th century by Catherine the Great, this park, palace, and building complex spreads over a vast area of 600 hectares. The main structure of the town, Ekaterina Palace, is especially famous for the Amber Room. However, due to heavy crowds in the summer months, this interesting room may not be visited by many tourists. In addition, in this historic town, there is also the school where the famous poet Pushkin studied. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest.
DAY 6
St. Petersburg – Istanbul
After breakfast, rooms are vacated and free time. At the time announced by your guide, transfer to the airport with our private bus. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight number . Arrival at the local time and the end of our tour.
