After our arrival at Bergamo Airport at 16:10 local time, we depart for Como with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historic buildings and orderly urban fabric. Its squares, cathedral, and shoreline offer visitors a compact and easy-to-access area to explore. Lake Como is one of Italy’s best-known lakes, and the hills surrounding it, lakeside settlements, and organized transport lines complete the region’s natural appearance. The area around the lake is visited regularly throughout the year and presents a balanced landscape between city and nature. On our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first reach Como city center and observe the cathedral area, squares, and shoreline from the outside. Afterwards, we offer free time on the shores of Lake Como. After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches; during the city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through the old town’s narrow, winding, traffic-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our walk along La Croisette Boulevard, which stretches along the Cannes coast and hosts many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice after some free time. During our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse are among the sights to see. Our visit point on the tour will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, which fascinates visitors with its museums, galleries, Gothic-style architectural works, and walls rising around its cobbled narrow, maze-like streets. On our excursion in Girona, we will see and photograph the colorful houses lined along the Onyar River that divides the city into two, and we will walk along Libertat Street, a traffic-free street that opens into narrow maze-like streets from every exit in the old walled city square. In a city where Christians, Catalan Jews, and Muslims lived together throughout history, we will complete our tour by seeing Girona Cathedral panoramically and then depart for our next visit point, the Dali Museum in Figueres. After a short sightseeing tour in Figueres, home to the museum designed by Salvador Dalí from a theater building to place his works while he was still alive, we will visit the Dali Museum (entrance fee included in the tour price) and go on an art tour with our guide in the museum housing 4,000 of Dali’s works.
