ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
After completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, which you must finalize 3 hours before the flight at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal, we fly to Bergamo at 08:50 on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight PC1211. With our arrival at Bergamo Airport at 10:40 local time, we depart to Milan city center with our private bus waiting for us at the airport to carry out our city tour. Upon arrival in Milan, city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art such as the Last Supper fresco by the great master Leonardo Da Vinci. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galeria, where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano are among the places to be seen. After the Milan city tour, we head towards Venice. Along the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour program (50 Euro). Located on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, Verona is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum, and the city where Juliet’s House is located, the setting of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo & Juliet, which tells the world’s greatest love story. We will complete our tour in Verona with a visit to Erbe Square and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. Transfer to our hotel in the Venice region. Check-in and free time to rest.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces & Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Pisa. Along the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour program (80 Euro – including “vaporettos and city entrance fees”). During our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower; afterward, we will take a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, linked by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. After free time at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Pisa. With our arrival in Pisa, our tour will include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square. After a short free time to see and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. Check-in and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (San Gimignano & Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to conduct our panoramic Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, which immediately draws attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most remarkable features is the bronze door known as the “Gate of Paradise,” on which scenes of prophets’ stories, some also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted in relief. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament, Signoria Square, the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Rome. Along the way, our guests who wish may join our extra San Gimignano & Siena Tour program (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano has earned its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to this day; due to the 14 architectural wonder towers that survived out of 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters, it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers.” After our sightseeing tour in San Gimignano, where time seems to stand still and visitors feel as if they are taking a time journey to the Middle Ages through its narrow streets opening onto the town square, and in its squares where we can see the 14 magnificent towers panoramically, we arrive at our next stop, Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, its small avenues, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena on Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to Rome. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Our guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour program (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where the narrow streets opening onto the squares, the enchanting lake and valley view, and the aroma of strawberries in the air come together, we take you on a historic journey through Rome and its icons, called Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine meet you, with buildings in different styles ranging from the ancient period to the Renaissance. While the works created through architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome carries even these crowds without overwhelming the visitor, with all its beauty and elegance. On our tour, in Rome, the imperial city that has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see panoramically the Colosseum, the symbol of the city and the ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where legend says that whoever throws a coin in will return to Rome again, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour program (65 Euro). Starting with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels – and Navona Square, we visit the Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world in terms of area. We offer free time at San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where, on special days, the Pope comes out of his office to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the world with its 140 saint statues, is located. Guests who wish may visit the cathedral section free of charge, subject to availability. After the free time offered, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, we will experience the true Italian atmosphere in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, with their authenticity and simplicity as well as their cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops, and the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by 2 bridges. After our walking tour through the small, maze-like back streets with tiny tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Rome Fiumicino Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Along the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Outlet Tour program (25 Euro). After the pleasant free time we will offer for quality and affordable shopping at the outlet center, home to stores of Italy’s and the world’s most prestigious fashion brands, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. With our arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 14:50 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1224. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:20 local time and end of our tour.
