After the baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures to be completed 3 hours before the flight at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal, we fly to Bergamo at 09:30 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211. Upon our arrival at Bergamo Airport at 10:20 local time, we move to Milan city center with our private bus waiting for us at the airport to carry out our city tour. City tour after our arrival in Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art such as the fresco of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper. Although it is Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and food and beverage experiences; during our city tour in Milan, where we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria, where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano, among the sights to be seen. Verona, included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the house of Juliet, where the famous English writer Shakespeare’s renowned work Romeo & Juliet, which tells the greatest love story known in the world today, takes place. VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces & Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – (Outlet Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out procedures, we depart for Florence. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour (80 Euro – “Including Vaporetto and city entrance fees”) program. During our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and built of stone and marble, and then we will take a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and extending along narrow canals. After the free time given at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Florence. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Outlet Tour (25 Euro) program. After the pleasant free time we will offer for quality and affordable shopping at the outlet center, which hosts stores of Italy’s and the world’s most prestigious brands that shape the fashion trend, as well as cafes and restaurants and personal activity areas, we transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. FLORENCE – PISA – (Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Pisa. Upon our arrival in Pisa, the sights to be seen on our tour include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square. After a short free time to see and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, we move to arrange our panoramic Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, the 4th largest church in Europe, which immediately attracts attention with its orange dome. One of the most striking features of the cathedral is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” on which scenes of prophets’ stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Holy Quran, are depicted. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was Florence’s political and social center for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous statue of David is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jeweler shops, are among the sights to be seen. After our enjoyable walk in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to this square, we continue our journey to Rome. ROME – (Rome Icons Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Our guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons Tour (85 Euro) program. Known as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world”; with its art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, with buildings in different styles stretching from antiquity to the Renaissance. While works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome, with all its beauty and aesthetics, can even carry these crowds without overwhelming people. In our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European Civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that has become the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, which was the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where, according to legend, anyone who throws a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo as panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. Within this free time, our guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro) program. In our tour, which we will begin by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. We offer free time in St. Peter’s Square (Saint Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where on special days the Pope comes out from his office to greet the public, with the San Pietro Cathedral, the world’s largest cathedral with 140 saint statues. Guests who wish may visit the cathedral section “free of charge” depending on availability. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we will mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto areas, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with their cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island connected to the city by 2 bridges, are among the sights to be seen. Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and therefore called the “Strawberry Village,” Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where its narrow streets opening onto squares, enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we move on to Castel Gondolfo. Referred to as the “pearl of the Castelli Romani,” in our Castel Gandolfo tour, which takes you away from the crowds of Rome and gives you a breath of fresh air with its nature, history, and soothing atmosphere, we take you on a pleasant journey accompanied by lake views. After breakfast and check-out procedures, we depart for Rome Fiumicino Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Following the baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be completed upon our arrival at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 11:35 with Pegasus Airlines flight PC1224. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 16:05 local time and the end of our tour.
