ISTANBUL – MILANO – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
After completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before departure, we fly to Milan at 06:55 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1873. Upon arrival at Milan Airport at 08:40 local time, we proceed to Milan city center with our private bus waiting at the airport to carry out our city tour. After our arrival in Milan, city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, stands out not only for this, but also for its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art such as the fresco of Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper. Although it is Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences; during our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria where many famous brands are located and where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano are among the places to be seen. After the Milan city tour, we depart for Venice. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour program (50 Euro). Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and is where the house of Juliet is located, the setting of Romeo & Juliet, the famous work of the English writer Shakespeare that tells the greatest love story known in the world today; we will complete our tour in Verona with a visit to Erbe Square and then continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces & Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Pisa. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour program (80 Euro – “including Vaporetto and city entrance fees”). During our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as San Marco Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and which was built from stone and marble, San Marco Basilica, Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower; then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. After free time at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, on our tour we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, cathedral, baptistery, and Miracle Square. After a short free time to see and photograph the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region. Room assignment and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (San Gimignano & Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to arrange our panoramic Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, Europe’s 4th largest church, which immediately stands out with its orange dome. One of the most remarkable features of the cathedral is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” where stories of prophets mentioned in the Qur’an are also represented. Next, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to invite the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which was Florence’s political and social center for centuries and also houses Michelangelo’s famous David Statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we depart for Rome. En route, guests who wish may join our extra San Gimignano & Siena Tour program (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be San Gimignano. San Gimignano has found its place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day; due to the 14 architectural wonder towers that survived from 76 towers as a result of wars and natural disasters, it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers.” In San Gimignano, where time seems to stand still and visitors feel as if they are on a journey back to the Middle Ages, and in its narrow streets opening onto the town square, we will see the 14 magnificent towers panoramically during our surrounding walk. Afterward, we arrive at Siena, the next stop on our tour. Siena is famous for its narrow streets, small avenues dating back to the Middle Ages, and Campo Square, considered one of the largest squares in Europe. After an enjoyable tour in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to Rome. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour program (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this feature, Nemi hosts the annual strawberry festival. After our surrounding walk in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares, a fascinating lake and valley view combine with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, described as Urbs aput mundi, meaning the “city at the center of the world”; a city that offers art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles extending from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome manages to carry even these crowds without suffocating the visitor, with all its beauty and aesthetics. During our tour in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and has witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see panoramically the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the center of ceremonies in the imperial era, the Fountain of Love, where, according to legend, anyone who throws a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street performers, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour program (65 Euro). Starting with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels – and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where, on special days, the Pope выходит from his office to greet the public, and where San Pietro Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 saints’ statues, is located. ROME – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Rome Fiumicino Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. En route, guests who wish may join our extra Outlet Tour program (25 Euro). After the pleasant free time we will offer for quality and affordable shopping at the outlet center, which hosts stores of the world’s and Italy’s most prestigious fashion brands, as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, we continue our journey to the airport. After completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures upon arrival at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 15:35 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1866. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:15 local time and the end of our tour.
