İSTANBUL – BOLOGNA – ROME
After completing ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures at Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal, arriving 3 hours before the flight, we fly to Bologna at 09:10 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1321. After arriving in Bologna at 09:55 local time, we depart with our private bus waiting for us to organize our Bologna city tour. Bologna is located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region and is known as one of the country’s oldest university cities. The city stands out with its architecture dating back to the Middle Ages, long portico-lined walkways, and lively squares. After arrival in the city, we begin our panoramic Bologna city tour. First, Piazza Maggiore, considered the heart of the city, and the Basilica di San Petronio, Palazzo Comunale, and Palazzo del Podestà around the square are among the buildings to be seen panoramically. During the panoramic city tour, we will see the Asinelli and Garisenda Towers (Due Torri), which have become symbols of Bologna, panoramically and will take a short photo break here. Then, by walking along the UNESCO-protected Bologna Porticoes, we will closely feel the historical texture of the city. During the city tour, we will see Archiginnasio Palace (the historical center of Bologna University) panoramically, then continue along narrow streets and squares and have the opportunity to experience the city atmosphere freely. After the free time to be given at the end of the city tour, we set off for Rome. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Rome region, free time to check in and rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro) program. Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its mountain strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” because of this feature, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing in Nemi, where narrow streets opening onto squares, a fascinating lake and valley view combine with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, the city described as Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” presenting art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, with buildings in different styles ranging from ancient times to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists every season, Rome manages to carry even these crowds without overwhelming people, with all its beauty and aesthetics. On our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and has witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the symbol of the city and an ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the center of ceremonies during imperial times, the Fountain of Love, where legend says those who throw in a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street performers, and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo among the places to be seen panoramically. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time offered for our guests joining the Rome Icons and Nemi Strawberry Village Tour, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro) program. In our tour, which we will begin by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at St. Peter’s Square (Aziz Petrus Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and where the Pope comes out of his office and greets the public on special occasions, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel almost like residents of the city, Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, as well as the Ancient Tiber Island connected to the city by two bridges, are among the places to be seen panoramically, where we will experience the real Italian atmosphere with its naturalness and simplicity, as well as its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops. After the walking tour through the narrow backstreets that resemble a labyrinth with small tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi, or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour we organize, Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola are among the places to be seen. Following the city tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join our extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro) program. We begin the tour with lunch at a local restaurant, and visit Pompeii, lying on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, whose eruption in 79 AD destroyed the city; after long excavations by archaeologists in 1748, the city was revealed in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii.
Or guests who wish may join our extra Sorrento, the Pearl of Amalfi Tour (80 Euro) program. In Sorrento, located on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, striking beaches, breathtaking views, and its Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, and captivating visitors by combining the Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, we offer free time after our city tour and sightseeing.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and check-out procedures from the hotel, we depart for Pisa. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro) program. Our first stop on the tour will be Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Piazza del Campo, considered the largest square in Europe. After our enjoyable tour in Siena on Piazza del Campo and the narrow historical streets leading to this square, we arrive at San Gimignano, the next stop on our tour. San Gimignano has earned a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural wonder towers that survived out of 76 towers due to wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing in San Gimignano, whose narrow streets opening onto the town square and its squares where we can panoramically see the 14 magnificent towers make visitors feel as if time has stopped and they have taken a time journey back to the Middle Ages, we continue our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, our tour includes the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square. After the short free time offered for a photo break, transfer to our hotel in the Florence region, check-in, and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (Lunch Included Florence Masterpieces Tour) – VENICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Venice. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Lunch Included Florence Masterpieces Tour (80 Euro) program. Beginning with lunch at a local restaurant, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, where we will organize a tour, we will first see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral from the outside, which immediately attracts attention with its orange dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most notable features is the bronze door called the “Gate of Paradise,” where some of the prophets’ stories mentioned in the Holy Quran are represented as scenes. Then, Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the people to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous David statue is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence masterpieces tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Venice region, check-in and free time to rest.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour) – (Venice Colorful Islands & Gondola Tour)
After breakfast and check-out procedures, we offer free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour (90 Euro – including Vaporetto and city entrance fees) program. In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see the main iconic structures such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with its columns brought from Istanbul, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed and used as a symbol of magnificence and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, and then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. At the end of the tour, during the free time to be offered for our passengers joining the Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour (75 Euro) program. In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, the fishing village famous for its lacework, known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. After free time for sightseeing and shopping, we return to Venice and complete our tour with the gondola ride, which has become a symbol of the city. With the end of our Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour program, we head to the Outlet Design Center for the final part of our Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour program. After the free time we will offer for pleasant and affordable shopping at Outlet Design Center, one of Italy’s most famous shopping centers, which sets trends in world fashion and hosts stores of many famous brands, many restaurants, and activity areas, we return to our hotel in the Venice region.
VENICE – (Verona Tour) – COMO – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out procedures from the hotel, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour (50 Euro) program. Located on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, Verona is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum, as well as the home of the famous English writer Shakespeare’s work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot along Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival in Milan, we organize our panoramic city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences; during our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. At the end of the tour, we depart for Como. Upon arrival in Como, our tour will include a visit to Lake Como, famous for its luxury living and natural beauty, home to summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, Europe’s wealthy, and the world jet set, and we will take a photo break accompanied by the lake’s unique view. After the free time to be given in Como, transfer to our hotel in the Milan region. Check-in and free time to rest.
MILAN – TURIN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out procedures from the hotel, we set off for Turin for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Turin, we organize our city tour. Located in northwestern Italy, Turin is the capital of the Piedmont region. Situated at the foot of the Alps, the city has historical importance because it was Italy’s first capital. It draws attention with its wide boulevards, Baroque architecture, and orderly city planning. It is also the center where the country’s automotive industry was born. With its rich cultural heritage, museums, and palaces, Turin is a city strong in terms of history and architecture. During the city tour to be carried out, the historical buildings and government offices around Piazza Castello, the city’s central square, the former royal palace of the House of Savoy, Palazzo Reale, the silhouette of the city’s symbolic structure Mole Antonelliana, and the surroundings of Valentino Palace will be seen panoramically, and Turin’s central fabric will be introduced panoramically by following the main walking streets Via Roma and Via Garibaldi. After the Turin city tour, we head to Turin Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. After the baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be completed upon our arrival at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 18:10 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1312. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:10 local time and the end of our tour.
