Meeting 3 hours before our flight in front of the airline counter at the departure terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Departure at 14:00 with AJet flight VF263 to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, arrival at 13:30 local time and, after entry procedures, we depart with our private vehicle waiting at the airport to explore North Macedonia's unique nature and cultural treasures. Our first stop is Tetovo (Kalkandelen), one of Macedonia's most striking towns. Here, we will visit the Painted Mosque, one of the most colorful and impressive mosques in the Balkans. Built in the 15th century, this mosque will captivate you with its vibrant colors and intricate decorations on the exterior. As we explore this rare example of Ottoman architecture, we will embark on a journey deep into history. After our visit in Tetovo, we continue on to Ohrid, accompanied by lush green mountains and deep blue lakes. Along the way, Macedonia's breathtaking scenery will accompany us. Upon arrival in Ohrid, we will take a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid, which was once one of the important bases of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Among the places we will see during our tour: the Monument of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Byzantine monks of the 9th century believed to have developed the Cyrillic Alphabet, and important structures such as the Church of St. Sophia. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through Çınar Square, the heart of the city, and visit the Turkish Bazaar dating back to the old Ottoman period. Here you may visit the Halveti Tekke and feel the city’s cultural texture up close. Then, by touring the New Bazaar and Ohrid Market, you will witness the daily life of the local people. Day 4: Shkodër – Prizren - Pristina - Skopje
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and set off for Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. After our journey, upon arrival in Pristina, we begin our panoramic city tour where we will explore the modern and historical sides of Kosovo. During our tour, we will also visit many valuable Ottoman-era structures. We will see the Fatih Sultan Mehmed Mosque and the 18th-century Yaşar Pasha Mosque. During this walk through the city’s historical heritage, we will have the opportunity to commemorate the important historical event and its place in Ottoman history by visiting the Tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigâr, who was killed on the Kosovo Plain as a result of the 1389 Battle of Kosovo. After our tour in Pristina, we head to Prizren, known as Kosovo’s cultural capital. Upon arrival, we begin exploring Prizren’s narrow streets, with architecture reminiscent of an Anatolian Ottoman town and shop signs filled with Turkish inscriptions. In the city, we will visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, one of the most important examples of Ottoman architecture. In addition, the Halveti Tekke, Bayrakli Mosque, and Mehmet Pasha Hammam are among the other important Ottoman works to be seen. After free time in Prizren, we begin our return journey to Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, our first stop is Mustafa Pasha Mosque, built in 1492 and one of the city’s largest and most magnificent mosques. Then we visit Murat Pasha Mosque, built in the 15th century. This mosque stands out especially for its Ottoman-era workmanship and architecture. Continuing our tour, we will see Kapan Han and Sulu Han, located in the heart of Skopje. These structures, fine examples of Ottoman-era inns, were once important centers where merchants stayed and traded. Later, we visit the Stone Bridge, which has become the symbol of Skopje. This bridge was built in the 15th century and connects the two banks of the Vardar River. Walking from the Stone Bridge, we will continue our tour by seeing the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods along the banks of the Vardar River. During our walk by the river, we pass through Macedonia Square. This square is Skopje’s largest and most central point and is surrounded by modern buildings. Here, we will encounter the statue of Alexander the Great and other monuments. Then we see the Ottoman Bridge from the 15th century from the outside and visit the Davut Pasha Hammam, once again feeling the splendor of the Ottoman period. We continue to explore the city by walking toward Skopje’s Turkish Bazaar. Before reaching the bazaar, we see the Clock Tower, built in the 16th century and one of Skopje’s symbolic structures. Here, we will visit Sultan Murad Mosque and Isa Bey Mosque, among the early mosques of the Ottoman Empire. The mosques are an important part of the city’s Islamic heritage and stand out with their architecture. Finally, we give free time in the Turkish Bazaar. During the 1992 war, it suffered major destruction as a result of the devastating conflicts among Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, yet Sarajevo managed to preserve much of its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the famous Baščaršija, the historic Ottoman inn Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the city’s religious cosmopolitanism, the Synagogue, the Gazi Husrev-bey and Ferhadija Mosques, the Latin Bridge where Franz Ferdinand’s assassination took place in 1914, the Old Library, and the western-style buildings that formed during the city’s 40 years of Austro-Hungarian administration. This bridge was destroyed during the 1992 war, but with the great contributions of the Republic of Türkiye, it was reconstructed in accordance with the original in 2004 and has once again become the symbol of Mostar today. Around this bridge, which gracefully connects both banks of the Neretva River, we will have the opportunity to visit the historic bazaar and stone streets. After exploring Mostar’s enchanting atmosphere, we will visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, one of the city’s most important religious structures. Here, we will examine the architectural details from the Ottoman period and enjoy the magnificent view of the Mostar Bridge from the mosque’s courtyard. Then we head to Blagaj, known for its natural beauty and soothing atmosphere. Blagaj is an impressive settlement founded where the Buna River, Europe’s strongest water source, springs forth, and where history and nature intertwine. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- In the event that adequate participation for the trip cannot be achieved; the Agency may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such cases, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The total tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic flight connections purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest, while visa services and travel health insurance, if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest, cannot be refunded as these services are considered used. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independent of the Agency, they cannot claim any refund from the Agency in the event of the trip being canceled by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance all financial and moral losses that may arise from the cancellation of the tour and the Agency cannot be held responsible.
3- In the event that adequate participation for the trip cannot be achieved, the Agency has the right to show goodwill and not cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guidance service will only cover the airport transfers for the international round trip.
Cancellation and Modification
4- In our tours, tickets for transportation are issued at the time of reservation. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date will incur penal charges as these flight ticket costs are non-refundable.
5- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty until 30 days prior to the tour departure date, provided that they notify the Agency in writing, except for airline tickets that have been paid for and/or committed by the airline. If the trip is canceled less than 31 days before the start of the trip, the guest can cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the flight ticket cost, and if canceled 15 days or less before the start of the trip, they can cancel by paying the full tour price as a penalty. In case of a cancellation request, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary based on the period of cancellation request, so prior information should be inquired. The Agency cannot give any guarantees regarding the cancellation refunds of additional services.
Guidance Services and Extra Tours
6- The days and hours of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums and ancient sites as well as weather conditions. Different guides may assist our guests during the tours.
7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general promotion of the cities and are conducted as panoramic tours with narrative from the vehicle, not including entries to museums or ancient sites, lasting no more than 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, will not be the responsibility of the agency if they cannot be conducted due to restrictions on visits by local authorities on the respective days or due to weather conditions that make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted using public transport or on foot where vehicle entry is prohibited due to closed roads or other circumstances.
8- Our guide may change the days of the city tour and/or additional tours based on the content of our tours, participant numbers, and the closure status of the museum and ancient sites. This also applies to changes that may occur in flight times.
9- Important considerations for tours conducted with Speed Boats; heavy meals should not be consumed right before boarding the boat, and large amounts of water should not be consumed. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their conditions.
10- There is no refund for services included in the prices if participation in the relevant tour or meal services is not provided.
Regarding Flights
11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply.
12- There may be delays or flight time changes in scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risks of changes/cancellations in flight times when purchasing the trip.
13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax.
14- According to airline regulations; if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
15- For those participating in tours with flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities, and these procedures must be completed by the guests at the airports or online through the airline's websites before the flight.
16- Last-minute delays and gate changes will be announced audibly at airports and shown on information boards within the area. This information must be monitored by the guests themselves.
17- Guests who are not present at the designated airport at the times indicated in accordance with airline regulations for participation in the tour, do not complete the check-in and boarding procedures in time, or complete these procedures in time but do not board the aircraft, cannot hold the Agency responsible for not realizing their flight. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip airline tickets and transfers necessary for guests who miss their flight are their own responsibility.
18- For flights originating from Turkey, the general baggage weight limit is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights within the destination country, the baggage weight may drop to 15 kg on those flights. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.
19- For guests wishing to upgrade ticket classes with their miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures may be performed depending on the availability of the airline (please check your membership with the respective airline). A mileage guarantee cannot be provided for each flight. Please check if the program tickets are in an upgradable class.
20- In some airlines, meal and online check-in services may incur additional charges.
Other Issues
21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by the guest to the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of the Agency will apply.
22- When hotel(s) are specified without names but only with category information and/or presented as options for the same destination, the Agency will inform the guest 48 hours before departure.
23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be used farther than the specified locations or distances. In such cases, the Agency will inform the guest 15 days before the departure date.
24- At the time of registration for the purchased tour; the guest must accurately enter/declare the name, birth date, and passport number as it appears on the passport. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Any penalties arising from incorrect information leading to the cancellation or modification of airline tickets will be charged to the guests.
25- To use your mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey whether your phone is enabled for international use.
26- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.
27- Requests regarding rooms (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated to the hotel by the Agency. Care will be taken for the booked rooms to align with the guests' preferences, depending on the availability of the hotel. The realization of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency.
28- Breakfasts served at hotels may vary from the rich breakfast traditionally found in Turkish cuisine. They are generally served as limited options consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room assigned for groups.
29- In some cases, a double room may be provided instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with 2 beds that can be joined if necessary.
30- The child and extra bed policies may vary depending on each hotel's room types.
31- Any extra bed and baby cot will be provided upon request and must be confirmed by the hotel based on availability.
32- The capacity for additional beds or baby cots in the room is 1 (maximum).
33- In triple rooms, there is an application for additional beds, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. The additional beds consist of foldable beds and what are called coach beds. Our guests accept that they agree to the possible crowding and bed type in rooms due to additional beds added to standard rooms when making bookings for triple rooms and/or bookings with children.
34- In hotel reservations, if the number of children and their ages staying with adults are incorrectly declared by the guests, the relevant hotels may charge extra fees. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. Hotels may request identification to confirm the ages of the children.
35- In reservations with 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices only apply if the child is staying with two adults. Child discounts apply only for “one child” in the eligible age group staying next to two adults.
36- The exchange rate during the day reflects in the TL prices. The rates at the time of payment apply. Additional requests, and some extra services (mini-bar, ironing, etc.) received at the hotel are subject to additional charges. These costs are not included in the purchase price and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
37- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local level taxes. All kinds of city, tourism, or other taxes that are currently in effect will be collected by the hotel from the guest upon entry or exit.
38- The distances stated in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the visited country, road works and conditions, etc.
39- In necessary situations, or if deemed appropriate, the Agency may change the order of the cities in the program without altering the content of the program and may change the main airline to be flown.
40- Guests’ personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identities are under their own responsibility, and the Agency will not be responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, the expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person will be the responsibility of the item owner.
41- Participants of the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any related medication and documents with them.
42- For any additional expenses, at check-in, official identification/photo ID issued by authorized institutions and either a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel. The return of the requested deposit upon departure is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no intervention in this.
Visa and Passport
1- Guests must have their passports valid for at least 6 months after the end date of travel.
2- At customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport for entry-exit stamps.
3- Being exempt from a visa or having obtained a visa for the countries in this tour does not guarantee entry/exiting the country; the passport police have the authority to deny entry/exiting, and the Agency cannot be held responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the traveler.
4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or have dual citizenship and plan to participate in the tour using their other country passport must consult the respective consulates regarding the visa procedures applied to that country; otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for any resulting issues.
5- To avoid problems with customs police at the borders due to torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged passports; it is advisable to renew passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
6- Guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked for a document showing mutual consent from both parents upon entry-exit; thus, guests aged under 18 and their parents are advised to be sensitive about this matter.
