Day 1: Istanbul – Milan
Meeting at 05:00 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul New Airport international departures terminal. After check-in procedures, we depart on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK 1873 to Milan at 08:15. After our arrival at 09:05, we take our bus waiting for us and begin a Milan city tour. Rather than attractive, Milan is a stylish city; rather than creative, it is a wealthy city. Without a doubt, it is the lifeblood of Italy’s economy and one of Italy’s most worth-seeing cities. On our Milan city tour, we will see one of the city’s historical landmarks, Milan Castle ‘Castello Sforzesco’, and ‘Galleria’, which left its mark on the 19th-century industrial revolution and is also known as Europe’s first covered shopping arcade. The famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel was inspired here for the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Duomo, where Gothic art can be seen intensively, is the fourth largest church in the world with its exterior facade consisting of more than 2000 sculptures. On the streets known as the center of fashion, ‘via monte napoleone’ and ‘via la spiga’, you can see the richness of the shop windows. After our tour, guests who wish may join the Como Lake and Town Tour. We then depart for our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
Extra Tour: Como Lake and Town Tour Per Person 50 Euro
Located about 1.5 hours from Milan, Lake Como is a pleasant region known for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. On this tour, we reach the town of Como, take a short walk accompanied by our guide, and then give our guests free time for shopping and exploring.
Day 2 Milan – Pisa – Florence – Montecatini
After breakfast, we depart for Florence. On the way, guests who wish may join the Pisa Tour. Known in history as the birthplace of the Renaissance and a city that shaped Europe’s art and intellectual history, Florence is one of the most important cultural centers not only of Italy but of the world. Rising under the patronage of the Medici family, this city is also a center where many geniuses such as Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Botticelli were born and created their works. It has also played a pioneering role throughout history in banking, textiles, and art; and for a period, it served as the capital of the Kingdom of Italy. On our city tour, among the places to be seen are the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral (Duomo), one of Florence’s masterpieces combining Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and the Baptistery with its impressive exterior facade, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Signoria Square considered the political center of the city, Palazzo Vecchio (Signoria Palace) in the square, the sculpture-adorned Loggia dei Lanzi, Uffizi Square hosting world-famous collections, Ponte Vecchio Bridge with its historical and elegant structure over the Arno River, Piazza della Repubblica combining the city’s modern and historic fabric, and San Lorenzo Market known for its local products.
Extra Tour: Pisa Tour Per Person 50 EUR
We will have the opportunity to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of Italy’s symbols, up close. On our tour, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli) will be visited; our guide will provide information about Pisa Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Leaning Tower from the outside. After the tour, guests will be given free time for taking photos and exploring the surroundings. You can capture unforgettable shots in front of this iconic tower, one of the most photographed structures in Italy.
Day 3 Florence – Verona & Garda – Venice
After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona & Lake Garda Tour on the way. After our tour, we head to Venice. From the Tronchetto harbor, the final access point for vehicles, we take a vaporetto to the historic island. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we disembark near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, the motor vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc. have all been replaced by boats. While walking from the waterfront to San Marco Square, you can see the Venetian prison and the “Ponte dei Sospiri” Bridge of Sighs, which connects the prison and the Doge’s Palace, San Giorgio Island directly opposite the bridge, the twin columns on the main facade of the Doge’s Palace, called the city’s gateway, and the statues atop these columns, which are symbols of Venice. The square where St. Mark’s Cathedral is located was called “the most beautiful square in the world” by Napoleon. Although the cathedral was completed in the 9th century, it took its present form in the 17th century. The 4 bronze horses you will see on the main facade were brought from Istanbul upon the return from the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can watch the statues atop the clock tower striking the bell every hour and climb the bell tower to see the entire Venice panorama from above. Also, guests who wish may join the extra Burano Island Tour. After our tour, free time. Then we depart for our hotel, room distribution, and overnight at our Venice hotel.
Extra Tour: Verona & Garda Tour Per Person: 50 Euro
We see the administrative palace of the Duchy of Verona, which remained under the Venetian Republic for centuries, and the Erbe Square, which is still used as a market square today as it was in history. In Erbe Square, after the Colosseum in Rome, we see Italy’s second largest amphitheater. Passing through Verona shopping streets paved with marble to show its wealth, we see the palace where Dante Alighieri lived during his exile. After seeing the Scaligero tomb of the family that ruled Verona, we take a panoramic look at the house where Romeo and Juliet, which inspired English drama writer William Shakespeare, were born. After a short free time, we head to Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake.
In Garda, captivating with its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and lakeside views, you can take a walk along the lake, photograph unique scenery, and enjoy the cool breeze.
Extra Tour: Burano Island Tour Per Person: 35 Euro
Burano Island, the most colorful corner of the Venice Lagoon, has a magical atmosphere with its colorful houses and peaceful streets. On the island, one of the favorite spots for photography lovers, after a short walk accompanied by our guide, we give our guests free time. You can browse Burano’s famous handmade lace, stroll among the island’s pastel-colored houses, and take a coffee break by the lake. With its silence, simplicity, and fairy-tale appearance, Burano will add a calm yet unforgettable memory to your Venice trip.
