İSTANBUL – ROME
We will be at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight, and after completing ticketing, baggage drop-off, and passport procedures, we fly to Rome at 09:05 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1221. After our arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 10:50 local time, we head out with our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport to organize our Rome city tour. In our panoramic city tour to be carried out upon arrival in Rome, the main places to see in order are the Pyramid of Cestius, an Egyptian-style pyramid covered in white marble and 37 meters high; Via Cristoforo Colombo, one of Rome’s widest and longest boulevards; the magnificent Terme di Caracalla (Caracalla Baths); Circo Massimo, the largest hippodrome in Rome, which today hosts concerts and events; Tiber Island, known for its healing tradition; and the colorful Trastevere district, which brings the medieval atmosphere to the present day. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour program (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view combine with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome and its icons, known as Urbs caput mundi, meaning the “city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine meet you with buildings in different styles from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another attract thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome is able to carry even these crowds without overwhelming one, with all its beauty and elegance. In our tour, first in the imperial city of Rome, which has shaped European civilization and witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will see the Colosseum, the symbol of the city and the ancient theater that hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city in imperial times, the Trevi Fountain, into which, according to legend, those who throw a coin will return to Rome again, the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo as panoramic sights. At the end of the tour, we offer free time in Rome city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish may join our extra Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour program (65 Euro). Starting with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza Navona, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time at San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather every year for worship, and on special days the Pope comes out from his office to greet the public, and where St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with statues of 140 saints, is located. After the free time, we begin our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city ourselves, Trastevere, where we will experience the true Italian atmosphere with its naturalness and simplicity as well as its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops; Piazza Trilussa; Ponte Sisto; and the Ghetto area, along with the Ancient Tiber Island, connected to the city by 2 bridges, are among the places to be seen panoramically. After a walking tour through the back narrow streets that resemble a labyrinth, with small tables set out, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Sorrento, Pearl of Amalfi, or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Naples. After our arrival in Naples, on our panoramic city tour, Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola are among the places to be seen. During the free time offered after the city tour, guests who wish may join our extra Lunch Included Pompeii Tour program (80 Euro). In our tour, which begins with lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Pompeii, which lies on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in 79 AD and destroyed the city. As a result of archaeologists’ long excavations starting in 1748, the city was brought to light in all its vitality. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. After our city tour and surrounding excursion in Sorrento, located on the Amalfi coast, famous for its small tourist boutiques, dazzling beaches, breathtaking views, and its Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, and captivating visitors by combining the Italian character and charm with a Mediterranean style, we offer free time. Its history dates back to prehistoric times and it enchants visitors with its Mediterranean style. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – SIENA – (Florence Masterpieces Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Siena. Siena is famous for its narrow streets and small avenues dating back to the Middle Ages, as well as Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant walk in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to it, we set off for Pisa. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Florence Masterpieces Tour program (55 Euro). In our city tour of Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, which immediately stands out with its orange-colored dome and is the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, called the “Gates of Paradise,” where scenes from prophets’ stories, some of which are also mentioned in the Quran, are represented. Then Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon the people to parliament, the Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and where Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David is located, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the places to be seen. After the Florence Masterpieces Tour, we continue our journey to Pisa. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We complete our tour with a sightseeing excursion in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, then continue our journey to Milan. After breakfast, we depart for Como. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Milan Masterpieces Tour program (55 Euro). Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the free time offered at the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Como. In our tour upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, famous for hosting summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European wealthy people, and the world jet set, with its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break accompanied by the unique view of the lake. After the free time in Como, we depart for our outlet center visit. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Lugano (Switzerland) Tour program (45 Euro). In our tour, we will enjoy a peaceful walk along the shore of Lake Lugano, which is located within the borders of Switzerland and will fascinate us with its unique nature, wonderful view, and city park, and we will enjoy unique views by photographing the magnificent nature. MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat)
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour program (50 Euro). Located on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, Verona also hosts Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the greatest love story known in the world today. After our panoramic surrounding tour, which we will carry out on foot along Via Mazzini (main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, and where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat program (125 Euro – Vaporetto transport fees included). After breakfast and hotel check-out, at the time indicated by our guide, we depart for Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul. After arriving at the airport and completing baggage drop-off, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul at 15:25 with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1218. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 local time and end of our tour.
