İSTANBUL – MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
We fly to Milan at 06:55 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1873 after completing ticketing, baggage delivery, and passport procedures, which we will carry out by being present at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before departure. After our arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport at 08:40 local time, we proceed to Milan city center with our private bus waiting for us to take our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for a shopping and dining experience; during our tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights. After the free time to be offered following the Milan city tour, we head to our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Verona Tour program (50 Euro). Verona, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is also home to Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and to the home of Shakespeare’s famous work Romeo and Juliet, which tells the world’s greatest love story known today. After our panoramic sightseeing tour, which we will carry out on foot along Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and stores, where we can also see Verona Cathedral, we complete our tour and continue our journey to the hotel in the Venice region where we will stay. VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour) – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Florence. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands by Boat Tour program (125 Euro – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In the first part of our tour in Venice, we will see major iconic structures such as San Marco Square, whose columns were brought from Istanbul and which was built from stone and marble; San Marco Basilica; the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of grandeur and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. Then we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, connected by bridges and stretching along narrow canals. In the continuation of our tour, we organize our Colorful Islands program. In this tour, where we will have the chance to observe the Venice island from different angles by passing through the lagoons, we will see Lido and Murano islands from the sea and visit Burano Island, the fishing village famous for its lace and known as one of the 10 most colorful places in the world. FLORENCE – (Siena Tour) – ROME
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart to organize our Florence city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see from the outside the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, Europe’s 4th largest church, which immediately stands out with its orange dome. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, called the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes of the stories of prophets, some of whom are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted as representations. Later, Giotto’s Bell Tower, which was once used to summon the people to parliament, Piazza della Signoria, the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops, are among the sights to be seen. After the Florence city tour, we head to our hotel in the Rome region. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Siena Tour program (50 Euro). Siena is famous for its narrow streets dating from the Middle Ages, small avenues, and Campo Square, which is considered one of the largest squares in Europe. After our enjoyable walk in Siena through Campo Square and the narrow, historic streets leading to this square, we continue our journey to Rome. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Our guests who wish may join our extra Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour program (85 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and called the “Strawberry Village” for this reason, Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After our sightseeing tour in Nemi, where its narrow streets opening onto squares and the enchanting lake and valley view blend with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historic journey through Rome and its icons, called Urbs aput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world,” where art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine await you, with buildings in different styles ranging from antiquity to the Renaissance. While the works created by architects competing with one another draw thousands of tourists to the city in every season, Rome is able to carry even these crowds without suffocating the visitor, with all its beauty and aesthetics. In our tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and bears witness to 23 centuries of history, we will first see the Colosseum, the ancient theater that became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights throughout the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center of the city during imperial times; the Trevi Fountain, where, according to legend, anyone who throws a coin in will return to Rome; the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists; and Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo as panoramic sights. Starting by seeing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of the Angels – and Navona Square, we visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic branch of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. We offer free time in San Pietro Square (St. Peter’s Square), where thousands of Catholics come and gather each year for worship, and where, on special days, the Pope comes out from his office to greet the public, and where San Pietro Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints, is located. After the free time offered, we start our Rome Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, where we mingle with the people of Rome and feel like residents of the city, Trastevere, where we will experience the real Italian atmosphere with its cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many more small and charming shops, as well as Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto districts, and the Ancient Tiber Island connected to the city by 2 bridges, are among the sights to be seen panoramically. San Gimignano has secured a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List because it has preserved its medieval architecture and appearance to the present day, and it is also known as the “Town of Beautiful Towers” thanks to 14 architectural marvels that survived among 76 towers after wars and natural disasters. After our sightseeing tour in San Gimignano, with its narrow streets where time seems to have stopped and visitors feel as if they are on a journey back to the Middle Ages, and its squares where we can panoramically see 14 magnificent towers, we arrive at our next stop, Pisa. In our tour in Pisa, which we will carry out upon arrival, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square are among the sights to be seen. Cinque Terre is a region on Italy’s Ligurian coast, known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes stretching parallel to the shore, and seaside towns. With its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region offers easy transportation between villages through walking routes and train connections. After completing our tour with a sightseeing visit in one of the 5 villages that gave Cinque Terre its name, we continue our journey to Milan. MILAN – (Como Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, our guests who wish may join our extra Como Tour program (50 Euro). Como is a center located in the Lombardy region and stands out with its historic buildings and orderly urban fabric. The city squares, cathedral, and shoreline offer visitors a compact and easy-to-reach area to explore. Lake Como is one of Italy’s most famous lakes, and the surrounding hills, lakeside settlements, and organized transport links complete the region’s natural appearance. The lakeside area is regularly visited throughout the year and has a balanced appearance between city and nature. In our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first arrive at Como city center and see the cathedral area, squares, and shoreline from the outside. Then free time will be given on the shores of Lake Como; during this time, visitors can stroll around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. After the free time to be offered, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Malpensa Airport. After completing baggage delivery, ticket, and passport control procedures at the airport, we fly to Istanbul at 14:55 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1896.
