Day 1: Kars Castle – Stone Bridge – Twelve Apostles Church – Free Time in Kars Bazaars - Kanlıtabya War Museum
Dear guests; We depart for Kars by boarding Turkish Airlines flight TK2714 at 09:35 from Istanbul New Airport on our way from Istanbul to Kars. We meet our transfer vehicle waiting for us at Kars Airport and begin our tour. We meet our transfer vehicle and guide waiting for us at Kars Airport and begin our tour. (Due to possible delays in flight times, the order of our tour program may change.) We arrive in Kars city center and start our Kars City Tour to both have our lunch and visit the city. Although Kars is at the far east of our country, it is actually at the far west of the Caucasus, meaning it has both eastern and western characteristics. We see the Twelve Apostles Church, the Stone Bridge, and Kars Castle. After that, we give you free time in Kars city center. After the free time, we visit the Kanlı Tabya Sarıkamış Martyrs Museum, one of the most meaningful museums in our country, built for our Sarıkamış Martyrs. During our visit, we will feel the spirit of that period to the fullest in the interactive halls inside this small museum. After our museum visit, we go to our hotel in Kars city center.

Day 2: Ani Ruins - Lake Çıldır
Dear guests; After the breakfast we will have at the hotel in the morning, our first sightseeing point will be our visit to the Ani Ruins, located on our border with Armenia. At Ani, which has hosted many civilizations for centuries and witnessed many wars, we will have the opportunity to see important remains such as the Walls, Lion Gate, Great Cathedral, Painted Church, Seljuk Palace, and the Menuçehir Mosque, the first mosque built in Anatolia. After listening to our guide’s explanations, you can take very beautiful photos during the free time given. After our Ani visit, we set off for Lake Çıldır, located one and a half hours from Kars center. We take a pleasant lunch break by the lakeside where the famous Sarıbalık of Lake Çıldır is served, and immortalize this beautiful view of the lake by taking photos. (If seasonal conditions are suitable and the lake is frozen, we may also have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful ride on horse-drawn sleds on the ice.) After the enjoyable moments we will spend around Lake Çıldır, we settle into our hotel. With our guests who wish, we can go to a delightful Caucasian night where men seem to fly in the air with magnificent dances, and girls dance as if gliding over water, featuring the most beautiful folk dances of Caucasian culture. Day 3: Eastern Express – Allahuekber Mountains – Horosan - Twin Minaret Madrasa – Erzurum Grand Mosque – Old Erzurum Houses – Yakutiye Madrasa – Lala Pasha Mosque - Taşhan
Dear guests; After the breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we go to Kars train station to enjoy a pleasant train journey and a beautiful sense of nostalgia, and we start our Eastern Express journey. (Note: If there is no place on the train, the route from Kars to Erzurum will be by bus.) On our journey between Kars and Erzurum, the most beautiful route of the Eastern Express, we reach Erzurum via Horosan and Pasinler, accompanied by the magnificent view of the Allahuekber Mountains. We panoramically see the Twin Minaret Madrasa, also called Hatuniye Madrasa, a Seljuk work that has become the symbol of Erzurum; then the Grand Mosque, one of the first and most important examples of Seljuk Cami-i Kebir, which was used as a food depot during the time of Sultan Murat IV; we tour the Old Erzurum Houses, an ethnographic museum formed by the combination of 11 houses; and then, during our walk in the city center, we will have the opportunity to photograph the Lala Pasha Mosque, one of the rare works of Mimar Sinan in Anatolia, and the Yakutiye Madrasa, located right next to the mosque and one of the finest examples of Seljuk madrasa structures. At the historic Taşhan, where objects made of Oltu Stone, the most famous underground treasure that first comes to mind when Erzurum is mentioned, are sold and exhibited, we give our valued guests free time until our flight departure time. After the free time, we head to the airport. We depart for Istanbul by boarding the Turkish Airlines flight TK2709 at 20:40 from Erzurum to Istanbul New Airport.
